Why We Like The Geshido Climbing Shoe

For longer gym sessions and multipitch routes, we strap on the Geshido Climbing Shoe for reliable performance. The synthetic upper stretches less than leather uppers, so we can depend on its tight, powerful fit longer. The more flexible heel rand lets us smear effectively while the dark spine midsole gives us the stiffness we need for solid toe downs to keep overhangs from spitting us off.

Good shoes for intermediate climbers

I bought this 2 weeks ago and overall, they are a nice pair of climbing shoes. I climb indoors and these are my 3rd ever pair of climbing shoes. Very comfortable. Some things I would note are that I thought they would be more aggressive going by all of the images of all the versions of Geshidos - regular, LV, lace. Pretty soft rubber and overall doesn't hold that arched shape when they are broken in. My main pair are the Phantoms and these feel drastically different. I wanted a less aggressive pair to switch off with. If you're looking for something a little more aggressive, I would not recommend. if you're getting into doing more technical stuff without jumping to a super aggressive pair, these are great.

Great all around use shoe

I’ve been wearing these shoes for over a year pretty regularly rotating them with the shamans and I still have not blown through them. Really love these shoes as an all around technical shoe. Will buy again for sure. My only complaint is I wish they weren’t pink. Tired of gender defined coloring on shoes.

Good Performance

I bought these 6ish months ago and loved them, they performed great on the walls. They are also a good mix between slightly aggressive but still comfortable for the feet. I made the mistake of purchasing a different style of shoe after I had worn through these, and I regret not purchasing these again. Now that I have officially worn through the pair I purchased after, I am definitely buying these Geshido's again.

Great all around shoe

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I've got a somewhat narrow heel and happy to have found these fit really well and can heel hook and they are really secure feeling and no dead space. This has been an issue with most shoes I've tried. Went off of the recommendation of going with your street shoe size and glad I did. They are tight but they broke in and good for me for sport climbing and in the gym.
