Defy Climbing Shoe
When it comes to gravity in climbing gyms, most people either fight it or defy it. Those who fight it look like bears thrashing their ways up trees and destroying anything in their paths, while those who defy gravity look like dancers who reach the same destination as the bear, but without all the physical grunting. You'll generally decide whether you're going to climb like a bear or a dancer when you learn how to climb. If you want to dance, Evolv's Defy Climbing Shoe boasts the comfort required to help you learn how to defy gravity, instead of fight it.

New to climbing
I’m new to climbing . Got these shoes and love how they look but honestly haven’t even climbed in them yet . None the less I love how they look and feel and look forward to climbing in them . Since I’m just getting into climbing I’m confident these will do a great job until I start doing more advanced routes and need more aggressive shoes

Fit small but solid beginner shoe
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Purchased these as my first ever climbing shoes and am happy with them overall. I was surprised how much I had to size up, I wear an 11.5 sneaker and ended up going with the size 13 climbing shoe. This is most likely partially due to the fact that I am new to climbing shoes in general, although others have confirmed that this shoe fits pretty small. The break in period was fairly short, they started to feel generally comfortable after about three bouldering sessions. After using them once or twice a week for about 2 months I am beginning to look into other shoes as these do not offer quite as much arch support as my feet need, but I have a very high arch to be fair. I really like the velcro strap system as I can unstrap to let my feet breathe when I am not actually climbing. Overall I am happy with them as they were a small investment to get into bouldering.

Bought these shoes and took a trip up to Storm Mountain up Big Cottonwood. Great traction. Fit a bit smaller than expected, but overall not too stiff and easy to climb with.

What is your street shoe size? Buying the Defy as my first pair of climbing shoes. Haven't arrived yet. Eager to see how they fit.

I wear a size 9.5/10 street shoe. Think 11 would be fine ?
