    Rove on, rover.

Now, packing for a two-week getaway of your cycling dreams to Italy can be daunting in and of itself. However, the Evoc Rover Trolly Bag is designed to accommodate 4881-cubic inches worth of gear, clothes, and random other necessities—which means you're able to pack all of the necessities, and maybe some frivolous items as well. Boasting a tough exterior, the Rover features smooth-rolling, silent wheels that are fully replaceable should things in Italy really take a toll, while the extendable handle makes it easy to navigate tight airports, cobblestone pathways, and train stations alike. Not to mention, the compression straps and padded internal partition keep a lock and key on your gear so you don't have to worry about mixing your tomatoes with your wine, per se.

Great bag with a few exceptions

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought this roller bag because I needed a bigger check on bag to fit all my fly fishing gear in. I wavered between this one and the Patagonia 70 L roller duffle. I bought this one because it just looked like a quality bag online--plus it was a bit bigger than the Patagonia one. I did find the size of the bag to be just what I was looking for. But I wouldn't buy the lime green color again. I made that choice because I thought it would stand out when coming off the conveyor belt. Yet after just one flight, the bag looked like it was much older--all the dirt and scuff marks really showed on it. Also, the EVOC insignia started to unravel after just one flight. I loved the way the bag rolled and also appreciated the internal compartment divider. But in hindsight I would have gotten the Patagonia because I know their travel bag fabrics are waterproof, the insignia can't come unraveled and don't show as much wear and tear.
