Why We Like The Evoc BOA Handlebar Pack

When our rides start to get longer and cover more weather systems, we need the storage space to carry all our fuel and layers in a compact manner. EVOC's BOA Handlebar Pack provides just that in an innovative package. Unlike most handlebar packs that attach with a maze of webbing and hook-and-loop straps, EVOC uses a single BOA dial, which tightens two straps. This simple design makes attaching and removing the pack far faster than other systems, so we can get on the road far sooner and with less fuss. The attachment also moves the bag out from the handlebar to better clear brake and shift cables.
The pack's double-sided roll-top design both allows us to control the volume of the bag and access contents from either side. When the skies grow dark with clouds, we can trust the waterproof fabric will keep our things high and dry, while the durable nylon will last through miles and miles of off-road riding.

Bought and returned

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I purchased the handlebar bag and returned it after seeing it in person. I think it's a shame that there are no pictures of what the bag looks like when it's open and you're trying to put stuff in it. The bag is good for what it is but it's not what most people will want for a handlebar bag. It's difficult to get things in and out of the bag. You'll probably have to assume that you'll repack everything every time you go into it. This *is not* a well-designed day bag that you'd want for a long ride to hold food and a layer. This is good for the narrow scenario when you want a small waterproof bag that you'll access rarely but still happy losing a fair amount of grip space on your handlebars. It's also pricy relative to other bags which have more utility.
