Eureka's lightest.

The Suma collection consists of Eureka's lightest tents, and since this 2-Person, 3-season is the smallest Suma Tent available, it is officially Eureka's lightest. Its three-season versatility includes a floor and removable fly that provide optimal protection from wet weather, and breathable walls with mesh windows to assure ample airflow in summer's warmer evenings. There is a single door and single vestibule, and inside Eureka included a gear loft and three pockets to keep all the small things completely organized.

  • Eureka's lightest tent for backpacking
  • Fly and floor treated to resist abrasion and weather
  • Breathable walls with mesh windows for ventilation
  • Dual pole system initiates quick-and-easy setup
  • Gear loft and three pockets for internal organization

Weight is off is not 3 pounds

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
True to size
Size Bought
2 person
6` 4"
240 lbs

The tent is great but it is listed as 3 pounds and 4 oz. The actual weight of the tent with poles and steaks is 4.8 pounds . I think this is an important detail to add .. other than that it gos up easy and plenty of room . I'm 6'4'' and 240 and had plenty of room in side of the tent with 25 inch wide sleep pad and 60 liter pack .

Good tent!

I've used it several times

The most cost-weight-and size effective tent ever. Good quality, color, size, and weight.

Too Delicate

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The weight and price on this are good. The quality is mediocre. First time out with it doing an easy camping trip and just setting up rips the mesh on the roof! I have a lot of experience with lightweight equipment and am very careful, even used a tarp footprint, and this tent still tore; and nowhere near the floor where you’d expect. Not a long term investment. Good concept, poor execution. Will not be my go to 3 season tent.

Tent Set Up Video - Suma

Two 5 stair reviews from you Brad? Seems a little sketchy. Actually I see all your reviews are 5 stars, and they're all for things you sell. This is disappointing that I can't get an honest review from you.

Can I put 3 inch thick 78 inch pad fit with out it or me toughing any or the tent.

Ok, I am over six feet 2 inches tall. I am having a hard time finding lighter tent I can get into. I spent a ton money on BA Coper Spur HV UL 2. My head and feet touched both ends. The size was not what they claimed. How about this suma 2. can I fit in it with a 78inch pad and still have couple inches for clearance. I am afraid tent leak or ware if I am always pushing on it.

what is the packed weight?
