    Great Backpacking Tent

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I revamped my camping gear last February to go backpacking more and decided on this tent. And am absolutely please after spending 30+ nights in it all over Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, and New Mexico.

Simplicity: This tent is incredibly easy to assemble. Two poles, some clips, and its up. Clip on the rain fly and you're good to go. Same in reverse for disassembly! I can set it up easily and quickly by myself

Space: The inside of the tent is large enough for two 6ft+ people to sleep comfortably shoulder to shoulder. Though it is more comfy feet to head. There is enough space to sit upright. The vestibule is a great as well, it's nice to leave boot and
packs in. Also give some more space to the inside of tent.

Weather resistance: From the desert heat of Moab to the drenching spring in Colorado, and the gusty winds of the Tetons this tent has stood strong. Including winter camping most recently in NM and CO. Multiple guy lines and attachment points let you secure the whole tent. The rain cover has worked flawlessly at keeping the inside dry. Ventilation is excellent and adequate for winter as long as you keep the side of the tent clear. The floor of the tent also repels water quite well.

Closing Summary: I have been extremely pleased so far with this tent. Simple design, setup, durability, and versatility make this one great for backpacking or otherwise. It fold up decently small and does not weigh too heavy. For the price I think it would be hard to find something better.

Love the color! Easy to set up!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've been a Eureka tent fan for many years and I own 3 different Eureka tents. I upgraded to this one mostly because of the color. I love the Aluminum Poles and waterproof fly. My only beef I have with this tent is it doesn't have the dual door and vestibule like the older Apex XT2 had (basically the same tent). Other than that I love this tent! It is a little on the heavy side for backpacking, but I don't do much backpacking so the weight isn't an issue for me.

This tent is extremely easy and quick to set up and take down with it's 2-Pole design, is freestanding, and the colorway is freaking amazing!!!

I would recommend this tent to anyone who wants a quick and easy tent to set up for car camping. The price is great too!
