Definitely NOT compatible with Shimano
Just upgraded to Shimano 12 speed. Turns out my existing e13 chainring was not compatible so I had a look around and couldn't see any aftermarket ones that were (that would fit e13 cranks). Looked on the e13 website and found this... https://support.ethirteen.com/hc/en-us/articles/360035158972-Are-your-chainrings-compatible-with-Shimano-12-Speed-MTB-chains- Ordered one from Back Country, made sure it was the right version number. It even says All 12 speed compatible on the packaging. Not even close. I used to defend e13 but as time passes I'm really beginning to hate the stuff. The only reason I went for the Shimano upgrade was because of a how horrible the e13 cassette has been. In the picture is a brand new Shimano XT 12 speed chain. Not even a full revolution and the chain is climbing up the teeth of the ring. Absolute garbage.

If you read their website, it states that some SL chainrings on the market may be the older model. Check the serial number and look it up. Or just call E Thirteen and see if they’ll send you the right one. I’ve had great responses from their customer service.

Nice to Mix it Up
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I'd be lying if I said I could actually tell the difference between chainrings while riding... but after a lifetime of riding sram and shimano it's nice to mix it up.

Nice looking Jeffsy! sounds like we have the similar woes with e13...havent made the swap to 12 speed but been looking to ditch the cassette and crank at all costs short of a full XT-12 rebuild. insane how e13 just doenst last and how poorly it shifts. gravel grinding all the time.
