Not the right saddle for me
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- True to size
- Size Bought
- 6` 2"
- 165 lbs
This saddle has 5 star reviews everywhere so I was pretty excited to try it. My previous saddles cause extreme discomfort/pain and numbing which results in me having to stop and get off my bike every 15 minutes or so. This saddle brings a whole new pain into the mix: pinching! I was constantly shifting and trying to find that sweet spot on the saddle but it just never happened. It also caused a lot of chafing even with chamois cream. The saddle seems to be well-made and the sit-bone area was comfortable, it's just not the right saddle for me.

Comfortable, but width is crucial
- I've put it through the wringer
I have this saddle on both my gravel and mountain bike. It is a solid choice for both riding styles as the cut-out is back further to accommodate the upright riding style. I assumed that I would be a small/medium as I typically wear small/medium bibs. I had my sit bones measured by Ergon and I am actually a medium/large. Ergon said that 90% of women ride a medium/large as we have wider pelvic regions. The sit bone region of the small/medium is 143 mm while the medium/large is 155mm. It is worth it to get your sit bones measured by a local shop, or by using Ergon's estimation tool so you know if the width of a saddle is off or if it just doesn't agree with your anatomy.

- I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
We've had some issues with the insanity in stiffness in some saddles, and while this is stiff, it's at least comfortable. The gel inserts here make a really big difference from what we can tell, and the shape and durability is well worth the already steal of a price.
