Hi, I have a wheelset with older xt hubs utilizing a 10/36 cassette. Will this adapter allow me to utilize the shimano 10/46 cassette with my current wheelset?

That freehub is used exclusively for Shimano 12 speed drive trains on Elite trainers, so unfortunately it wouldn’t work on your wheels. Both the 10 speed Shimano drive trains and the 11 speed Shimano drive trains use the classic HG freehub body which your wheels should already have on it
