Flexible and sturdy, Elite's Paron Race Composite Bottle Cage keeps your bottle handy without weighing you down or costing half as much as a new bike.

    Simple and Effective

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've never had real problems with any of the water bottle cages I've used. This cage continues that trend. I use it on a cyclocross frame with Camelbak Podiums and have had no issues with bottle security. Haven't tested it in an offroad application yet but for smooth road riding, it gets the job done. As a top loader I'd imagine it might have some access issues on a frame with a small front triangle (say, a full suspension MTB), but I can't see any problems with it on road frames.

    Nice with Podium bottles

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Great value for price. I mainly bought these for racing. When combined with Camelbak Podium bottles, they hold the bottle very securely. I've not had a Podium bottle pop out. However, it doesn't hold as well for other bottles that I have since there's no adjustment. But still holds them pretty good. Would buy again.

    Sleek and Stylish

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This cage does its job and looks good doing it. It is made of light composite so is very comparable to the carbon cages 3x in price. Looks good and matches my bike.

    Great cage, great price

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are great, affordable cages. Lightweight and strong enough to hold my large, insulated Camelback bottles on my Hardtail 29er.

    Why buy a carbon cage?

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

For all intents and purposes, these are about the same weight as a carbon cage, and I'm willing to bet more durable. They look better than a glossy carbon weave. Just so you know, there are other color options out there. I picked up a matte black version from my LBS that looks great on a Cervelo S5 and does not dress it down at all despite the economical price tag. I am still in initial testing stages but optimistic. Fits my CamelBack bottles tightly.

Perfect bottle cage for the money

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Great, lightweight, and sturdy bottle cage that gets the job done. They work perfectly with the CamelBack Podium bottles that I also bought from here. Nice snug fit!

    Nice light & tight

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

    This is a fine cage
Holds bottles secure but still not too hard to grab your bottle from it.
Ride alum bike so I get the bumps etc but bottles stay secure.
    Nice price
    Nice weight
    Nice look
    Cannot complain at all :)

    Gets it done

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Nice looking and functioning bottle cage. I've tried a few out over the last couple of years and I prefer the functionality of these cages over many others. I now have them on all of my bikes. It doesn't hurt that they look cool too.

    First Plastic Cage

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

As the title says, first time going plastic on a bottle cage. First impressions, seems fairly light and should work well for the price.

    Great Value

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

It's not every day that you find a bike part for $15 that works perfect and looks good on your bike. This thing holds my 22oz bottle very securely, has a nice minimal/simple look to it, is plenty light, and didn't break the bank. I wouldn't say this is the end-all ultimate bottle cage, but it definitely works great and is a great price. I would purchase again.

Strong, stiff, and super cool to look at

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I got two of these to put on my new road bike, and thus far, I've been coming away thoroughly impressed. A bottle cage isn't anything to astonishing, but little features such as an angled entry near the top of the cage for ease of bottle placement, a stiff retention design, and slick colors really help tie it in to the bike. Also, the design is stiff enough, light enough and affordable enough that the only reason why not to get it is if you don't like the colors. I love it, and feel very confident in my purchase to get them again when/if needed.

    Great water bottle cage

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I wanted to put carbon water bottle cages on my new Specialized carbon bike but the prices were really high and the Specialized products had some negative reviews about the side entry style of theirs and the bottles moving around on bumps. The Elite Paron composite cages were cheap, lighter than some carbon, and hold my bottles fine even over large bumps. Save the money from the carbon bottle cages and buy these, you won't be disappointed. They look great too with many color combinations available. Ridden about 500 miles with them on my new bike no problems.

Will this cage work on a V1 Ibis Ripley? Thanks
