Whether it's for warming up in a shady corner of a parking lot before an event or trying to maintain form through the cold months, rollers are occasionally a necessary evil. Elite's Arion Rollers don't beat around the bush: they're all business with no silly frills to disguise the fact that what you're doing may not be fun, but you're doing it, and that's what counts. The one nod to creative engineering Elite makes is with the parabolic rollers themselves, which help keep you from wandering off onto the carpet and into the wall during moments of inattentiveness when you're daydreaming of spring.

Well over 1000 miles and still fine
- I've put it through the wringer
I ride this for 30 minutes of intervals almost every morning. Its been great but need to tighten the bolts that hold the rollers occasionally as they will eventually work loose. Some loctite would probably fix that but I just keep an eye on it and tighten as necessary. So far only twice.

The perfect El Nino companion
- I've used it several times
Bought this to keep pedaling during the El Nino in S. California when the trails are too muddy. Have about 75 miles over 10 or so uses on this roller. I set up my 29er MTB with slicks, works great. Like being able to take the bike as it sits, throw it on the roller and get to pedaling. The parabolic rollers help make the learning curve quick and to keep you centered when pedaling. Workout intensity is light to moderate but requires a focus on balance and smooth cadence. It has helped my form and cadence techniques for the real rides.

I was wondering how quiet these rollers are.

Hey John, If you are pedaling on hard floors they will resonate more than on let's say a carpet door mat. All in all no they are not super loud.
