Same expansive field of vision and features as the EG2, but sized for smaller faces.

The Electric EG2.5 goggles offer the same expansive field of vision and features as the EG2, but are sized for smaller faces. Beyond the oversized lens and frame design that brings you an industry-leading view, the goggles have a number of features that keep you consistently seeing clearly during long days out in the snow. The dual lens design, anti-fog lens treatment, and lens and frame ventilation keep the goggles from fogging up, while an anti reflection coating on the lens and Eye Black light-absorbent paint on the inside of the frame reduce glare. When you're at higher elevations, pressure buildup between the lenses can cause optical distortion, so a pressure valve is placed on the lens to prevent this from happening. Triple-layer face foam lined with hypo-allergenic, moisture-wicking polar fleece allows the goggles to sit comfortably on your face for the long haul, while you can secure the goggles on with the adjustable strap. A hard coating on the outside of the lens protects the lenses from scratches, and the included bag keep the goggles protected so they'll last through many winters.

Zero Issues & Does What it Says

I have only been using these goggles for a few weeks but they have been great. I have only had one issue of condensation and fog forming inside of the goggles, which occurred the first day I wore them. Ever since then I have not had any issues with fog. I am a pretty big dude and they fit my face very well. Given the fact I got these on sale for about 50% of the normal cost on Backcountry and that they come with an extra lens, I think these goggles are a great value.

Fits a small face

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The lenses are killer and the head strap is really comfortable. Was a bit too small for my face however.

Lens Durability...only so-so

I've put it through the wringer

So, I purchased these last summer and they've made it through one season. That said, they were only used about half the days as I would switch between some Smith's that I also own. I have to say I'm a little disappointed with the lens coating on these. After minimal uses and always being placed in the microfiber bag for transport and storage, the coating has all but rubbed off the exterior. Consequently, the optics are less than desirable now and I've since dropped them off at the local gear recycler. No complaints on the fit or helmet integration-that part was great, but compared to a pair of Dragons that I also own (and have had for about 10 years) the lens coating is crummy.

for a smaller face

I returned this product before using it

I have a narrower face for a guy, so I got one for me and one for my g/f. My g/f love hers. But I found mine too tight. I wear Narrower/Med style sunglasses. But these googles were just too small around the foam. I sent them back and got the EG2s. They fit better but look huge on me. I guess I'm some where in the middle. Have not used them on the slopes yet. However my initial impression is that they are good quality and lenses have a large field of view compared to traditional googles. Cant wait to take them out this winter.

Smaller face? These are for you!

I've put it through the wringer

I have what I like to adoringly call Pinheaditis. Most spherical goggles make me look like I'm getting ready to go on a space mission. Simply put, most goggles are too big for my aerodynamically shaped tiny dome. That's where these bad boys come in to play. They are just plain great. They fit my face, they don't fog up, they fit several helmet brands, and they look rad too! What more can I say?

go-to favorite

I've put it through the wringer

These are hands down the best goggle I have ever owned/used. The perif is AMAZING. I could not be happier with them. 2.5 fit is perf for my slimmer face. And they do not fog up.

Snorkel Approved

Fresh in the mail

Goggle of choice

I've put it through the wringer

This marks my 4th year with electrics and I could not be happier with them. The peripheral cannot be beat! 2.5 fit is great for my smaller face. They do not fog up when hiking or going from cold air to tram rides. Changing the lenses is a breeze. These fit perfect with the B2 Snow helmet (link below) Highly recommended goggle!

Great goggles, massive lens so you can see everywhere. The EG2 goggles were a little to big for my face but the EG2.5 goggles fit perfect. Recommend this to anybody.

Electric EG2.5 Goggles

I am curious if you can switch the strap around on the tie dye green goggles so instead of the tan strap its the tie die green, anyone know? Thanks!

Is it just me or did the price of these goggles increase a lot? I bought a pair last month for $70.38 and now the same pair is going for $169.95. So much for a second pair.....

Hey Swabby, You probably originally got a pair of last seasons inventory which was and still is on sale. You will see that in the drop down menu that there still are options at the lower price. However, we have already had two days of snow here in Utah which means winter is coming and so are this years colors and styles.
