If you feel the need for speed when ripping the resort, then you may be familiar with the performance-value of carbon or titanium in your ski’s core. When designed the widest version of the Wingman series, Elan wondered—why not have both? The Wingman 86 CTI is the perfect accomplice for shredding steep groomers in the fewest number of turns possible, thanks to full-length carbon rods and a titanium laminate which find a balance between dampness and stiffness. The single titanium layer offers bump absorption and dampening without making the ski downright heavy, and the carbon rods supply plenty of torsional stiffness for laying over those deep carves. We appreciate the performance aspect of the Amphibio design which implements a cutting edge concept for edge grip and ease of turning, with a cambered inside edge and rockered outside edge.
