this is an 11mm diameter rope!!!!

Familiarity:: I've put it through the wringer

Well, if your top rope soloing the dawn wall on mini traxions or taking 100 ft whippers on el cap granite edges, then this 11mm (supposed to by 9.5) is "adequate for the job".
