I've used this rope outside around the SLC area and in Moab, and it's performed well in both areas on granite, quartzite, and sandstone. It gives you a nice catch when you take a fall, and has stood up well to rope drag . I climbed on it for about the second half of the outdoor season and have taken it inside about a dozen or so times. Definitely recommended for the average sport climber for inside or outside, although keep in mind for inside you'll be dealing with a good bit of excess length.

Bought this rope a month or so ago, and have taken it to the gym, on a trad trip, and on a few sport trips. This is the first rope I've bought myself, but I've been around different ropes for a while and this one certainly doesn't disappoint! Obviously the price is great for the length/width/treatment. The length is great for longer sport routes, and the middle mark is very clear (unlike some of the dual color ropes I've climbed on in the past). It feeds super nicely through a GriGri and an ATC, and it's very comfortable to fall on, too. It's held up well to what I've put it through so far, if a little dirty, but we'll see how it works out long term. It's pretty light for the length and width, so not a bear to haul out to the crag, and fits well in the Trango Antidote bag I bought with it. I'm looking forward to using this rope lots in the fall when the season returns!

Does the thermo shield bond the sheath and core? Saw that it says it does on the Tommy Caldwell rope. But I couldn't find much literature on it
