Drivetrains are constantly evolving. It can be tough to keep up with the options, and expensive to try to stay on top. The good folks at Easton feel your pain, and they know that you love your Easton wheels. That’s why they made the Easton XD Driver—so you can keep your Eastons and keep up with the XX1 Joneses.

Unfortunately, SRAM’s 11-speed XX1 group requires a totally different freehub body than the standard 9- or 10-speed SRAM or Shimano freehub body. The XD Driver solves this problem. It’s compatible with Easton’s M1-121, M1-221, M1-321, and M1-322 hubs, so your late model Easton wheels are probably covered. However, you’ll want to check the part number printed on your hub before ordering.

  • XX1 11-speed-compatible hub
  • Compatible with Easton’s M1-121, M1-221, M1-321, and M1-322 hubs
  • Item #EAS0332

Not a universal Easton XD driver

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

Does not work on Easton EA70 SL Disc Wheelsets with X5 hubs sold by CC. For the X5 hubs, after calling Easton found the correct SRAM XD freehub body is Easton 11-Speed XD Driver Body for X5 hubs part number #8022454, which unfortunately Competitive does not sell, so had to return this and buy the one for X5 hubs elsewhere.

you gave it a two star review after you bought a part which based on the description, clearly does not support your application. That is so weak... who is at fault, you or them? really... smh. Some peoples kids. If I was you i would not have even admitted to that.

Gotta have it

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

You'll need this guy to run a SRAM 1x drivetrain. Be sure to get in touch with a gearhead if you have any questions. jdraper@backcountry.com

I have Easton Havens that are currently set up with a 10-speed cassette. If I get this will I be able to go straight to 11-speed? (running sram force 1x10)

Essential

I've used it several times

Super easy to use and a must to switch to a Sram 1x system - worth the upgrade.

I bought this for the easton ea70 xct wheelset to run on X01 drivetrain. It has held up with no issues at all over the last 2 months of abuse.

I am trying to convert my 2011 Easton Ea70...

I am trying to convert my 2011 Easton Ea70 29" wheel hub to use the XX1 setup on the bike. I am not certain if the current hub I have is compatible with the XD driver body. Where is the model noted on the hub usually?? Thanks!

Does this XX1 fit the EA70 XCT 29" wheels?...

Does this XX1 fit the EA70 XCT 29" wheels? It says it has X2 hub. Thanks.

I've got a Easton Haven M1-120 hub, I would...

I've got a Easton Haven M1-120 hub, I would like to know if this freehub adapter will fit my hub to enable me to use the XX1 Cassette, My mechanic also pointed out that my bike width is 135 quick release, Please confirm that your free hub is compatible for me to use before I purchase, many thanks caesarang@yahoo.com

The M1-120 has a different shell from the M1-121 and thus, the bearing upgrade kit and the XD driver cassette body designed will not be able to fit onto it. They are designed for M1-121, -221 and any hub ending with ?1?. The only way is to send the wheels back to Easton and they'll change the hub from M-120 to M-121 in order the XD driver to fit
