Get the ENO Atlas or Atlas XL instead

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I had these straps, but i find it is hard to get my hammock tight with how little straps they have. If you are wanting nice straps, get the ENO Atlas or Atlas XL. You won't regret it.

    First impression.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I won't be able to bust these bad boys out until the snow goes away and I'm back out camping, however my first impressions have me loving them. They're super lightweight and seem fairly straightforward which is a huge upgrade from my usual paracord set up I would make. I also knew I needed these straps when I realized paracord isn't exactly tree friendly. I like the red knapsack container it came in as well.

    Well Made - a Must

These are simple to use (ridiculously simple), adjust to accommodate for different distances to anchor your hammock, and heavy-duty enough to accommodate for 1 or 2-person hammocks. Get a hammock, get the straps. Depending on the hammock you get, you may want to invest in a couple of carabiners as well. Check your hammock specs to see if it comes with them. If not, we've got 'em!

If you have a hammock you need these

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

When I first bought my hammock I thought I'd save a few bucks and just go to my local rock climbing store and buy some thin climbing rope but I ended up not getting enough and it was just a pain and I ended up buying these anyway which are a lot easier to use.

So if you get a hammock get these too. Definitely the best option.

      Great straps

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Extremely easy to setup, multiple loops to accommodate your hammock needs! Great value for the price, a staple in my gearbag.

Getting a few more of these as backups

      Easy hanging!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The Eagle's Nest Outfitters SlapStrap Suspension Straps make putting your hammock up a breeze. With the multiple attachment points, you can really accommodate any opening between trees for a quick cat-nap or a long afternoon snooze. If you have a hammock, these will help you use it more often as setup and adjustments become a painless process.

      Super Easy

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought this as a gift, for my cousin Eddie. Here's what he had to say :

"So awesome. These straps make it easy to put a hammock anywhere. Super easy. These bad boys have made me understand what it truly means to be a “tree hugger”. When you go to strap up around a trunk of a tree you have to put your arms all the way around it and bring your face right up to the bark. Bringing you a little closer to that sturdy friend holding up your hammock. And the strap doesn’t harm the bark of the tree either! Great for hippies. (Negative: I don’t know what to do with the bag when I am using the straps. Really not that big of a deal, but I am do get worried the wind might take it away from me.)"

      Everyone uses the eno slapstrap

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought these to replace my nautical rope straps on my ticket to the moon hammock because I wanted something with a daisy chain instead of knots. This is one of the cheapest and lightest strap setups which is awesome. Everyone nowadays has an eno (except me) so I was hesitant to use their straps but they pack down super small and hold up very well, so I took the plunge. I wish BC offered more colors as somehow my friend found a neon green pair.
Overall impressed, hammock straps are simple and these ones nail the simplicity.

      best straps

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Nice straps which are super easy to use and cheap. Don't bother looking anywhere else. These are strong durable, and dependable. I have no worries about the long term dependability and cant wait to use them again. If you are looking to get a hammock set up hit me up!
