Can't Go Wrong with an Eno

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

its compact size, light weight, and durable material make this eno a great investment for anyone. I can set it up on my porch or in the woods on a camping trip definitely a must buy. My only complaint is it doesn't come with the support system used to set it up, so be sure to buy the system along with the hammock!

ENO Singlenest Hammock

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Chairs? What’s a chair? I’ll be bold and put it out there, no way in heck am I carrying a folding chair of any kind on a long hiking trip (well, maybe one of the fancy expensive ones if I find some money). The hammock has quickly become the lightweight and low volume lounging solution for the outdoor enthusiast, and ENO has become a relative gold standard. So long as you have trees you have comfort, over the last few years I’ve spent a substantial, bordering on excessive, amount of time in my singlenest either sitting or sleeping. Love the easy setup with atlas straps and the ability to quickly have a multipurpose piece of camp furniture. One qualm, its a bit short if you’re medium/tall, so maybe go with the double. Also, if it is hung between a large tree and your car and you drive away, it WILL rip in half. We had a good run and I have already purchased another, it’s on its way. Pro Tip: hang it off some cams if you can find two placements on an overhang.

ENO is the Gold Standard

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I love ENO's hammocks. They're not always the lightest or the most adjustable, or the most feature-rich, but they simplicity and durability is excellent. The do pack down decently small and are easy to throw in a pack, and the color options are good. I've left one outside most of the summer and you wouldn't even know it. The Double Nest is my go-to but this Single is a bit more compact and perfect for kids. You can even fit a couple adults in a pinch. I do wish straps were included in the purchase price, but not a big deal.

Could not be happier

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I have been holding off on buying an eno hammock forever and just bought cheap ones on Amazon for $20. I am glad I finally bought the ENO though, high quality stuff. I bought the khaki/olive color to help blend in with the nature around me

The hammock to rule them all...

Familiarity:

ENO has always made the best hammocks, and this one is no exception. It's high quality, the bright colors pop, and it has a really great warranty too. Get some slap straps, and you'll be all good to go!

For the minimalist

Familiarity:

Packs down to about 6L. Just take this everywhere, just in case. Don't forget your daisy chain straps to that you can hook up to your nearest tree... and in a worst case scenario you can also use the door frame pillar of your SUV

I just picked up my second eno singelest (also own one doublenest) and couldn't be happier with these hammocks. They great to use for an afternoon in the sun or an ultralight backpacking trip.

Great product!

Familiarity:
I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I gave this as a gift to my brother-in-law, and he loves it! I have also used this hammock since gifting it to him. It is comfortable and has plenty of room for extra layers if you want to or nerd to put extra layers. It is quite durable as it has withstood the test of a 13 year old boy scout. It is also great for backpacking as it is compact and easy to set up. I would definitely recommend this hammock to anyone looking for comfort, ease, and durability.

Awesome product

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This hammock is perfect for hiking around or switching it up from the tent on a camping night. The only change I would make personally is the upgrade to a DoubleNest. I've slept comfortably in this hammock with my sleeping pad for insulation, sleeping bag, and pillow but it took a little time to get secure in the hammock making sure I wouldn't roll out. Definitely recommend, would only suggest looking into the double for added comfort and stability.

Wowwie Wowwie

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I have definitely treated mine in a horrible way. Besides being easy to use and very comfortable it can put up with a lot. I have left this out in the sun for a SoCal summer and I have sat up to 3 people at one time though not recommended. Use during the summer is great with how well it breaths. It also works well during the winterl with the plenty of room for extra layers to stay warm with out the worry of falling out. I would recommend this to my friends if they didn't already have one.

How well would the SingleNest work for someone who is 6"5'?

Hard to say since I am only 5'5", but there is plenty of extra room in it for me. Friends of mine up to 6'1" have also used it comfortably. For $10 more, I guarantee the DoubleNest would be roomy enough for you.

how hard is it to sleep/ adjust to sleeping...

how hard is it to sleep/ adjust to sleeping in this hammock for nights on end

After 14h of hard trekking I'm sleeping like a baby...and you? It's move for side to side....but I need the sleep (;

I've personally never had a problem with it. But when I'm backpacking with it I'm usually so tired I could fall asleep on anything. And with how comfortable this hammock is it should be pretty easy to get used to. The only problem I've experienced is that you get colder faster because there isn't any insulation between you and the ground. But they sell insulators that solve that problem. Hope this helps!

If you have a problem with insulation just toss your thermarest in it, works great!

Gotta agree with Luke. Throw a pad in there and you'll be set.

Does this hammock come with rope to hang it?

no - check out my recommendations on the doublenest page

No but you can purchase a set of slap straps. I recommend just buying some tubular webbing and using that instead. Cheaper, lighter, stronger, and offers more flexibility.

Do slap straps come with this product or do they need to be purchased seperately

It does not come with the slapstraps. It just comes with the carabiner on each end that you can attach to whatever.
