Didn't hold up

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

First time I used it, a micro squall of heavy wind came through, beat this thing like the proverbial red-headed step-child, and left it tattered and torn. Let's see if a warranty replacement will go through... Update: ENO honored the warranty and gave me a credit at their online store. Once there I discovered they have many more products than are shown here at backcountry, and replaced this tarp with another different model. 2 stars updated to 5 because stuff happens - but not being left hanging is wonderful.

Big enough for two plus more

I bought this for hammock camping and it does the job. Didnt realize how big it was! It is awesome durable and the guide lines work great!

awesome tarp!

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is way bigger than expected. I probably wouldn't recommend for backpacking as it takes up a good amount of space and is heavy but is pretty rad for a little shelter. Just used mine for a group trip and it provided plenty of cover for 7 people to hide from the elements.

No Rain

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This thing is huge! I never used it in the rain but it go's down to the ground so it will keep the rain off you. It is heave, probably would just go with a nice one man tent.

Heavier than the claimed weight of 28oz.

I haven't had a chance to use it yet but was hoping for a lighter tarp. In the stuff sack it weighs 35 oz. and without the sack it weighs 34 oz. If you are counting ounces for a multi-day backpacking trip then the extra 7 oz more than the claimed weight could mean a lot. The material it is made out of does seem durable and well made.

I believe the claimed weight is without the guy line cords, simply the tarp itself.
