    A Must Have

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Purchased the ENO Big net for a camping trip. I love it! Small and lightweight but does the job. Allows you to see the night sky without unwanted hammock guests. Would definitely recommend.

    Perfect for camping

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This makes a huge difference if you’re camping ultra light and really need to stay away from the bugs. Easy to use and set up, easy to pack and move quickly.

    Keep bugs from eating you!

I paired this with several different hammock pieces, different brands.
Took a while to get used to the set up so practice set hammock set up at home before camping!
I took this to a week camping in Banff area in September and it definitely kept bugs away from eating you!

      Great Gift!

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Purchased this as a gift for my dad who is trying his hand at backpacking. He loved that he was able to set up a bug-free hammock so easily. I love that this makes it easier for him to go for an adventure and not have to worry about getting eaten up by bugs! Big win!

      Keeps the Buggies Away

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Used this on a camping trip in the TN mountains in June. Kept the mosquitos away and I had no worries about spiders getting in. I did have an issue with the hooks that hold up the top coming off the guy line a couple times, but that didn't make the net any less effective, I just clipped it back up and kept rollin.

Note: Get the straps to direct rain water away from the hammock as the net can become damp if the water runs down on it.

      Worth it

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Last time I slept in my hammock I started awake from a nightmare. In my dream thousands of spiders started pouring out of the tree and raced into my hammock. However all I needed to do was look up at the bug net and I was comforted enough to fall back sleep. No spiders were getting in my hammock to feast on my blood thanks to the way the net cinches down on the straps. Get this bug net if spiders terrify you as much as me.

      This is great!!!!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This thing is awesome!! I love using it where ever i set my hammock up!! It is super light and super compact!! I love this because it allows me to hang a wool blanket around and inside of it, this creates a super solid insulating layer around me, protecting me from the wind and colder weather!! I even use this when i set up my hammock in my house!! I like to use it in my house because i have a lot of spiders and i really hate spiders, and this is the perfect item to use to keep those pesky bugs off of me!!! E.N.O hits it perfect every time!!

      Mostly good to go...

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Bugnets are a must here in Louisiana.

Ditch the included guy line and keep a roll of 550 cord with you. Less stretch and works way better.

Also, works well as a place to throw your boots once youve settled in and zipped it up for the night. Keeps spiders and snakes out of your boots if theyre locked up tight at the bottom of the extra area of the bug net that hangs under your hammock.

      Useful piece to have.

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is a nice addition to have in the eno family for when you're spending extended amounts of time in your hammock. I end up not using it very often simply because it can be a hassle to set up. The included guyline on which the net is hung is not very user-friendly, simply because it's a length of low-tensile string/rope. The process of tying the hangline is a little tricky because the attachment points aren't clearly defined, and when the hammock sinks when sat in, the hanging rope becomes slack, allowing the net to settle on the hammock/your face. However, this bit of gear is essential if hammock camping anytime from mid-spring to early fall when you could wake up with mosquito bites everywhere if not using the net. Quality is usual you would expect from eno, top-notch.

      Keeping the spiderbros at bay

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I first bought this to take to Hawaii. I stayed up in North Shore and went for a little bushwhacking adventure in Zombie meadows. On the beach and what not, I didn't notice any mosquitoes. But one step into the jungle and bam there are huge nasty black skeeters just itching to get a taste of you. I slung this bad boy up with my eno double nest while we were playing around on this huge rope swing. This net did amazing. It protected me from becoming one big mosquito bite. It is really light weight and packs down really well so the hammock and the net don't take up very much room in your pack. I highly recommend this for any humid bug infested places your travels may take you. If you want to contact me directly feel free to hit the chat buttom and ask for me or email me at

      keeps the spiders out!

eno's products are great...the bug net is a must up here in MN. The ends sinch up to the hammocks suspension rope, the zipper in the middle takes a little getting used to especially at night. but if you put it in the middle you wont have to reach to the ground to grab it. Great wind block as well without a rain fly!

      No bites

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have slept in the outdoors since I was knee high to a dragonfly, and I have found myself with bites more times than I can remember.

The ENO Guardian changed that for me. I no longer worry about being dinner to a horde of wild bitemes, mosquitos, and ants.

      Well done, ENO.

      Protection from Winged Beasts

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

My wife is a field biologist, and she is semi-allergic to mosquito bites. Well, with this ENO Bug Net she slept soundly every night without having to worry about getting welt-sized bites from all of the unwelcome flying insects that circled her like sharks circling a shipwreck survivor. This net is like a forcefield. Kapow! Saved!

The only downer for her was that she wished it would've stayed taut more easily as it tended to sag after a few hours in the sack.

A must have for your hammock needs.

Basically, if I wouldn't have had this bug net up in the Uintas a few weeks ago, I would have been devoured by mosquito's and other weird bugs that tend to bite.

Easy to use, extremely compact, and super light :)

      Bugs buzzin but not bitin'

Used this for the second time this year 2 weekends ago and the bugs were bad at night. Our group had two tents a VW bus and three hammocks, two of which had guardian bug nets. About 2 am I heard a noise so I flashed my headlamp on and noticed a empty hammock. Needless to say if you plan on hammocking in the summer you will definitely want a bug net.

Will this keep no-see-ums out? I know they can get through some mosquito nets.

        Hi NinjaAlex888,

The ENO (Eagles Nest Outfitters) hammock can be used without a bug net, but this product is only the add on bug net for the hammock (all sizes) which is sold separately.

I hope that helps, and if you have any further questions, just write a response back and I'll get you taken care of!

Does this just drape over the top, connect to the sides, or wrap all the way around? Can it be hung under a rain fly? I have an ENO hammock and fly I just need to keep the bugs away now.
