Make extra space in your carry-on.

Stash your clothes inside the Eagle Creek Pack-It Compression Sac and reduce the volume of your clothes by up to 80%. Suddenly, the world of packing has changed forever. Rather than leaving your dirty laundry to contaminate the rest of your clean clothes this sac separates your clean from your gnarly. A clever design allows you to remove excess air via a one-way pressure system, which compresses bulky garments so you can fit all kinds of extra t-shirts in your luggage. Zowww-eee!

    Great for traveling

Love these compression bags. I keep my pants and shorts in one bag and my shirts in another. I wish would carry the small size also. For underwear and socks, just to keep everything and organized. Definitely creates space or compacts down for room in your travel bag.

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The large fits 2 NORMATEC boots. The medium fits most of my clothes for a 5 day trip. The best part is that these bags saved my clothes from a TSA mishap where my fajita mix broke out of its container and laid waste to my luggage. I highly recommend these.

      Space saver and durable

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

It's definitely a lot thicker in material than what I expected, but it definitely packs down quite a bit. I would recommend these for trips where you'll be changing in and out quite a bit. It's good to have one on hand just to store all your dirty clothes. The L size is actually really big and you could fit one in a backpack, but not two....learned that the hard way. Regardless, these are great for a carry on and also suitcases.

      Easy to use, sturdy, effective

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Best compression bag I've ever used. Durable plastic material can withstand lots of daily use during extended travel. Love the zip top which makes sealing very easy. Once the air has been removed it really will stay compressed unlike some cheaper versions which slowly regain air. Expensive, yes, but worth it.

      Pack just about anything

These bags don't look like much and I was pretty skeptical of the whole idea, but after reading other reviews I decided to give them a shot. So I bought one of the medium sized bags and when I got it and tried it out I was amazed. These are like some crazy infomercial product that actually work. I used the medium on a trip and was able to fit a regular sized pillow in it and compress it down to about the size of one pair of jeans. I have been so impressed by these that i have ordered several and everyone I have showed them to, have ordered some as well. Well worth the money, incredibly versatile, and can help you fit a ton of stuff in a little space. If i could give six stars to these I would.

This is a must for anyone who travels. It worked better than I expected. It saved a ton of room in my bag as well as sealed out the nasty smell of my dirty clothes.

Would the large fit your average sleeping bag?

      Best Answer

There really is no such thing as an average sleeping bag with variables like insulation-type, fill-weight, size, and etc. to take into account. You could probably fit ceratin sleeping bags in an Eagle Creek Pack-It Compression Sac just fine, but I would recommend using these bags for clothes or similar items and keeping your sleeping bag in a stuff sack.

If you are looking for an after market storage sack for your sleeping bag I would highly recommend looking at products from Sea to Summit or Granite Gear. Both excellent brands with plenty of options.
