Light and stiff - the perfect combo

These boots provide the best of both worlds in the backcountry, light on the uphill but stiff and confident inspiring on the way down. The ankle strap lets you tighten the boot to feel really secure skiing downhill and the toe box is wide enough for long or hot days where you feet might swell. Really happy with this boot.

These are my go to ski mountaineering boot for climbing up and skiing down Mt Hood. They are incredibly light and descend well, considering how light they are. I'll ski in them in bounds, but I prefer a stiffer boot with some natural flex. Be wary of the speed toe and crampon compatibility! These boots won't work with automatic crampons. You either need an adapter (sold by Dynafit) or crampons with straps. Semi-automatic or strap in crampons (with no toe bail) work just fine.
