Dynafit's TLT Superlite 2.0 10 Binding offers a safe and responsive binding in the package of a race-ready speed demon. The lateral release rating of 5-10 is slightly lower than the Superlite 2.0 12, making it a solid option for slightly smaller skiers. The steel and aluminum construction maintains durability without weighing you down, and you've got the option to add brakes (sold separately) if you want them. Two heel risers let you adapt to changing terrain while you're motoring up the hill, and the crampon attachment can even be removed if you're really trying to shed an extra half ounce or two.

    • An ultra-light binding built for speed
    • Lateral release value up to 10
    • Steel and aluminum construction is lightweight yet durable
    • Optional ski brakes available (sold separate)
    • Two heel risers let you adapt to changing terrain
    • Crampon attachment can be removed for further weight loss
    • Item #DNF00ER

    Light is Right

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These make for the ultimate spring ski setup. They are sooooo light and handle the downhills like a boss. The toe piece doesn't swivel, live my ST radical toes, making it a million times easier to step in to on steeps and lock out toes for touring. I was nervous to settle on such a light binding, but I am so happy I did. I did add the B&D antitwist to allow for a true flat tour mode, but rarely find that I need the true flat.

    Excellent lightweight bindings

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These bindings took me by surprise. They are not only super lightweight but very easy to step into as the toe piece does not have the swivel mechanism (a feature that I find pretty annoying in deep snow or on steep hills). The heel turns easily from touring mode to ski mode, and the heel risers flip up and down with a pole. I have these mounted on the Dynafit Beast 98 (for women) and the setup is perfect for me when guiding.

    Great lightweight choice.

A super light binding that still performs on the downhill. This has been an awesome option for spring ski mountaineering and big objectives--anything where speed is key.
