TLT Primaloft Insulated Skirt
When you live somewhere with touring access as legendary as Telluride or Teton Valley, owning cold-weather clothing that isn't multi-functional just doesn't make sense. For days when you're up at the crack of dark for a light and fast dawn patrol then back to the pad to pick up the pooches for a walk to the coffee shop, the toasty insulation of the Dynafit women's TLT Primaloft Insulated Skirt will be the first thing you reach for. Full-length stretchy side panels and an elastic waist layer easily over lightweight touring pants while the DWR-treated Pertex Quantum shell and Stormwall 3L insert block out icy gusts at the summit. When you have your après-ski americano in hand, Primaloft Gold keeps you warm and comfy even while sitting out on the deck with the doggies.

Love this, fit, zippers, color, I'd say it is true to size, I'm pretty petite, so this could be a tad shorter on me, but it's great .

I like these type skirts for backcountry skiing, snowshoeing and cold weather hikes. The zippers make it easy to ease restriction for my stride.

I was searching for a puffy skirt mainly because I wanted one for after skiing. I had semi scoffed at previous reviews of other skirts saying how the puffy skirt "kept their bum warm" but holy smokes I was wrong. Its versatile and totally adaptable to whatever you're doing. I wear mine walking, hiking, even doing yoga sometimes on a cold morning, splitboarding. Its actually light and pack able enough I will bring it with me for overnight spring touring trips. I love the ability to adjust the zips for different steepness in terrain and the fact I can take it fully off with the one full side zip (with gloves on too!). . Whats also great about is its the only puffy skirt I tried on that was narrow enough at the bottom and not just awkwardly flared out! So it looks fantastic on!

This skirt is definitely a lot thinner than I expected. It is also a lot more grey than black. While I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't a puffy skirt, I actually came to love this skirt. I wear it all the time while I'm winter camping in the desert or when I just want a little extra warmth over some baselayers. The best thing about this skirt are the zippers. I've tried other skirts that just don't because of my waist/hip ratio (way too tight on hips but too loose on waist). I love this skirt because the zipper makes it super easy to get on and off and the waist is super flattering. I also love that you can adjust the zippers from the bottom so that the skirt doesn't pull too tight when you're sitting down.

Too thin for me

I was looking for a down skirt to wear over riding tights this winter when it gets REAL cold. This skirt was super flattering and easy to get on/off, but I wanted more insulation and warmth. Not great for my needs, but if you want a skirt that won't constrain you as you go about your activities, this could work for you.
