Take it to the track.
Whether you’re taking your kids around the local Nordic track or training for your next race, wear the Dynafit Men’s Speedfit Windstopper Jacket to stay comfortable. It’s been constructed with Gore Windstopper to protect you from the brutal wind that whips across the course, and it has a DWR finish to deflect any snowballs your hooligans may toss. Dynastretch inserts increase airflow and encourage you to use your full range of motion, while a tight-fit hood and silicon-grip hem hold everything in place when you’re going for a PR. For an early morning workout or a post-work jaunt at sunset, the reflector stripes will increase your visibility in sub-par light conditions.

Good for skinning
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: Runs large
- Size Bought: Small
- Height: 5'11"

This is a good outer layer for skiing uphill, both in the backcountry and at the area. Moisture management is so important, and this jacket does it well without needing pit zips, which can make the fit kinda awkward when you're trying to move fast. It seems to shed light snow pretty well too. My only real complaint is the internal climbing skin pockets. They're made of a grabby mesh fabric that can make it difficult to jam in your skins (which themselves obviously are a grabby material). These pockets should be lined with a smooth fabric so you can easily slide your skins in when you're on top of that windy ridgeline.
I wouldn't consider myself a small man (5'11" 165lb), but the size Small fits me perfectly.
