Ski runners: your savior has arrived.
Do you like to get up before the sun, throw on a skin suit, and head out for a quick run in the snow, with skis strapped to your feet of course? Yes (duh)! Then check out the PDG Ski Boot from Dynafit. The injection-molded shell provides a medium flex, which is ideal for comfort on the way up, without having to sacrifice too much on the downhill. A fiberglass cuff and spoiler provides a lightweight, consistent flex throughout your skiing. While the boot is on a narrow racing last, the thermo-moldable race liner helps to even out any discomfort you might experience. Two aluminum buckles help secure your foot, with the top buckle acting as the ski/walk mechanism as well. It really doesn't get simpler than that. The boots can be adjusted for a 15-18 degree forward lean, so you can dial in the fit you need for your race that day. A whopping 62 degrees of cuff rotation while in walk mode means that your leg will stop rotating backwards long before this boot does, though it's probably best to avoid that. Since races can take you to some pretty slippery areas, Dynafit used an EVO race rubber sole for the best combination of grip and light weight.

What do you think about this product?
Have questions about this product?
Good skimo
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I have been really impressed with this boot. I've been using it more in a skimo setting, but think it would hold up on bigger boards (max 95 mm underfoot) no problem. Quality product at a decent price.
If I wear a 25 in a women's touring boot, would it be the same in this one ? Or would I size down?
Hey Stefanie,
The mondo sizing is the same, so the 25/25.5 shell would be the best option for you in Dynafit PDG. What specific boot do you have currently and I can check the boot sole length? Feel free to contact me directly with any additional questions.

Can this boot wear step in crampons, or does it need new matic or strap on crampons?
Obvious competitive skimo nube.
Step in crampons work fine. I use the CAMP Race 290 but any clip crampon will work or strap on works too.
