    Stay warm, even when wet.

The Dynafit Cho Oyu Down Jacket represents the ultimate in down insulation technology designed to keep you warm, even when wet. The 750-fill down is treated with Dynafit's water-repellant and anti-bacterial Downtek coating for unprecedented loft and odor-free use while wet, giving you greater freedom of use in damp conditions (which are the norm in the backcountry). In keeping with the advanced nature of the insulation, Dynafit surrounded it with a Pertex Quantum shell for feather-light (no pun intended) but durable and weather-resistant protection. A boxed baffle construction gives the down maximum loft, and a one-hand adjustable hem and hood seal in the warmth. For extra awesomeness, the Cho Oyu Jacket comes in some flashy colors that keep things lighthearted on your backcountry excursion.

    Best Lightweight Jacket Ever

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: M

Everything about this jacket is great, from the awesome, cozy hood to the long, hip covering length in back. It's super lightweight and packs down into the inside pocket creating a small, zippered stuff sack perfect for chucking in your pack.
NOTE: While this jacket is true to size, it is VERY slim fit so if you are "chesty", this may not be the style cut for you.

    So Good , I bought 2

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Large (although the Medium fit well too)

My criteria when I was looking for a jacket:
    - Layers for Colorado snowboarding - this goes under my shell or my heavy jacket and I haven't gotten cold since.
    - Hood for helmet - has elasticized flap in the hood. I hook it under the rim of my helmet and it's the only one that has ever stayed on comfortably. (Fleece stays on too but they get wet)
    - Cosmopolitan look and fit - For urban hiking and travel
    - Well-situated pocket - the chest pocket is perfect access for cellphone while riding
    - Light
    - Packs small - for travel

It's my most perfect jacket ever. I was afraid I'd get it dirty or ripped so I bought another one - just so I had an extra in case that happened! (Hopefully not soon)

    Great coat!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I bought this coat for winter ski touring, with the option to not use a fully h2o proof coat over the down. It is light and warm with good h2o repellent properties. The coat is nice and long and has a very functional hood. Overall a great purchase.
