Every time you use Bio Green lube, an eco-angel gets its wings.

While we don't know about Gs one through nine, we can tell you that Dumonde Tech's G-10 Lubricant is something special. It is 100% biodegradable. By this, Dumonde doesn't mean that 51% of the lube is biodegradable, which often is enough for people to make a claim about their product. They mean 100%. That means the lube, the carrier, everything. There are no petroleum products in this lube. Only plant products. Bio-lube if you will.

We can't say whether or not using G-10 will save the world. We can tell you that it is a step in the right direction. Lube comes off chains, get onto roads, trails, and eventually, can make it into the water table. We don't see any benefit to that.

G-10 works like any other lube, albeit one with a nice citrus smell. Start with a clean chain. Dribble on the lube. Wipe off. Wipe again. Go. If it performs at all like other Dumonde lubes, it might even perform better after one or two bike washings. Because it is biodegradable, it might not last quite as long as Dumonde's Original and Lite lubes, but we found those lubes to be pretty long lasting.

The Dumonde Tech G-10 lubricant comes in a recyclable drip bottle. The lube is colored green. The bottle size is two ounces (2oz.).

I've used ProGold chain lube for years. But looking online I discovered it's incredibly toxic. I had no idea.

I switched to Dumond Tech bio green and I'm never going back to old tech, toxic petrochemical lubes!

Bio Green has worked great on my MTB (Ibis Mojo 3) in a variety of conditions. I apply every two or three rides, wipe it down, and my drivetrain is smooth and silent!

We ride to be healthy and to be connected with Nature. I no longer want to wash toxic lubricants down the drain and into the environment every time I wash my MTB bike.

      Great Lube

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I'm not a stickler on my lube, but I also clean my drivetrain after each ride. This has kept my drivetrain running fast, quiet, and shifting well. Added bonus: who doesn't love a product that is less harmful to the environment!

      What??? All Natural!!

Who would have guessed biodegradable bike lube. A little goes a long way so make sure you wipe your chain after application. It last quite a while and when sprayed with citrus degreaser come right off of the chain, chainrings and cassette, making your drivetrain sparkle again. I hate a squeaky chain and the 2oz bottle goes into my pack while I leave the 4oz bottle in my shop.

      Dirt collector!!

Used this produce as directed on the label. Cleaned chain with degreasing agent before applying lube.
        Applied as directed.
Went on first ride. Chain was quiet but after a 30 mile ride the chain was "black" with grime. The road was dry, no heavy dirt etc.
The gunk on the chain was like old oil or lube .
        Will not use again.

All lubes do that. The electro-static (adhesive) properties that allow the lube to cling to the chain are the same that collect the junk in the air. Perhaps your roadways are not as pure as you imagine?
Always wipe your chain down after a long ride.

Biodegradable--nice idea but what are the...

Biodegradable--nice idea but what are the advantages? Does it rot like veggies or get rancid like veggie oil? Does it last? Does it work in rainy, humid weather? Does it keep debris from building up on the chain? Does it build up on the chain?

It does Not turn rancid. It Does last in rain, humidity. By not following the direction, it may build up, but who's fault would that be. Dumonde G10 is way better then all the other 'bio' lubes. They are all dirty and performance sucks.
