X1s Goggles

The younger brothers of the X1 Goggles, the Dragon X1s Goggles offer the same unlimited vision and optical clarity in a downsized fit suited for small-to-medium faces. The next step in Dragon's Frameless technology, the X1s features a lower-profile fit than previous Frameless goggles to create a wider field of vision without increasing the size of the lens. Spotting landings, finding hidden features in the trees, and avoiding kooks in the park just got easier with the X1s.

An optically-correct injected spherical lens offers undistorted vision, and a low-profile fit, and the large lens keeps the frame out of sight for an infinite field of view. Super Anti-Fog technology keeps your lens clear, and Armored Venting circulates air and makes clearing out packed snow a breeze. Triple face foam with a microfleece lining lets the goggles sit comfortably on your face throughout the day. They're also helmet-compatible so you can stay safe out there, and silicone strap backing prevents the goggles from slipping when you stomp a big landing.

Quite Small

The frame is a little small side, even for small sized frames. So these really might as well be for kids or for very tiny adults. That said, they still are comfortable and the photochromic lenses do their job quite well. They don’t seem to noticeably get really dark or really clear, but they very effectively block the bright light on sunny days and allow me to see very clearly on overcast snowy days. Biggest takeaway on these is that the frame is small, but the photochromic lenses do their job.

X1small......

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These goggles have a great lens combo for the price. They just fit over a medium helmet so beware. I also have a pair of X1 transitions but I like this lens for full sun. It is a good goggle for the price.

The Worst Goggles I Have Ever Used

Familiarity:

The transition lenses are a joke. First day I took them out it was very overcast outside. The lenses went straight to black making very difficult to see. They will be sent back and I doubt I will purchase Dragon goggles again.

X1s = X1small

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

My sister has the Dragon APX goggles which I love. I thought these were the same, however, they were not. I got the X1s which I didn't realize were the small version, the "s" made sense after I found that out. The other issue was the lenses, in the picture online they look completely reflective (similar to the lenses on my sister's goggles), however in person they are completely see-thru. I still love this brand and purchased the X1 version instead with different lenses and they are perfect.

So these are not the replacement goggle for the APX/APXs now that Dragon no longer makes them?
