    See and destroy.

When Danny Davis and TJ Schiller spot their landings after three or four rotations over a huge table top, the Dragon Rogue Goggle ensures they see it and stick it. The optically correct lens gives your eyes the ability to see downhill so you can know what’s ahead when you’re spotting a landing in the park or mapping out a series of turns through a rock-studded chute.

    Great for a first timer

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I picked these goggles up on a super sale. My pair has the green ion lenses which were great in the sun, they washed out a bit on a gray snowy day but that's my fault for not swapping in the included yellow lenses! I had zero fog issues, great viewing angles and they fit perfectly with my Smith Camber Helmet!

    Great for a first timer

    Great for the price

You're not too keen on dropping 200 bucks on goggles that either have way more tech than you need, or are just much more fancy than you want-- which is why these are freakin' great! They're pretty middle-of-the-road as far as price goes, but they're not cheap-- they ventilate well (hardly ever had a problem with fogging), they fit well, and they come in dope color-ways. They might not have the most visibility in the market, but you're gonna have to shell out some extra money if you really fee like you need 360-degree vision...

This Kyle agrees with the other Kyle

I was going to write a review about how this google is pretty good but honestly I can't say it any better than Kyle Wall. He wrote the post directly below this one. I work with him and He knows his stuff. You should follow him or any other gearhead who's review you find helpful.

      Great helmet goggle

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've had three pair of Rogues. I really appreciate the simple lines and the great functionality. The foam is super comfortable and well distributed. The spherical lens and frame shape offer fantastic peripheral vision. They clean up well after a spill. The strap attachments hinge outward to accommodate the extra thickness of a helmet. The height of the lens from nose bridge to top isn't too tall for helmets causing pinching on your nose. They fit med to med/largish faces. Another great thing is the replacement lenses start at $39.95 which is SWEEEEETT!!.

The only thing that would make them a little better would be a siliconized head band so they grip your helmet real nice. Even still, these goggles are awesome. Simple, functional and styilin.

      Good but not great.

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Does everything you would expect a goggle to do but others do it for less money. Fit comfortably with with or without helmet. Good field of vision. Lens scratch very easily and they are not as fog resistant as I hoped.

      GO ROGUE

      Amazingly baller

These goggles are sick. Seriously next level baller status.... especially if you can get them for about 50% off - like right now.

Buy with confidence. Ride with confidence. Everywhere you go it will be like the music from the first ride session in The Art of Flight.

        good enough for Gigi

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Tried them all, but kept the the Rogue because they fit my medium face best. The optics are excellent and rival any of the top brands. The peripheral vision is also very good...and only where you really need it (the sides).

I bought the version that includes the bonus yellow/blue ion lens. Dragon's website says they're only 35-45% virtual light transmission, so I was worried they'd be too dark for overcast/shadowed or storming conditions. However, the pamphlet that came with the goggles claims these lenses are actually 60-70% VLT. I think the website is wrong because I used them in a heavy snow storm and they weren't even close to being too dark.

The Red ion lens worked great in super bright sunny conditions. I didn't find myself squinting, at, they look great and are ultra reflective.

        Super goggle

Great looking goggle, super lens and incredible peripheral vision...but, mine had a poor glue job on the nose area of the face foam. The box also arrived unclosed. The goggles were bulging out, the bag on the bonus lens was already opened and the protective film was half peeled back. QC needs a little work.

...however, they worked great on the mtn. The "jet" version ($159) comes with a bonus yellow/blue mirrored lens for low light that worked great in heavily snowing/cold conditions. The vision was HD and they didn't fog at all. The red ion mirror (other included lens) was perfect in bright sunny/bluebird conditions. The mirroring on the red lens is super opaque, so no one can see your eyes.

For those who complain about the "halo" effect created by the ion mirror, don't worry about it. Seems to me that halo actually increases snow definition, so if you aren't staring at your hand all day, you won't even notice the halo when actually riding.

          Awesome set of goggles

I've used these goggles for the past 2 seasons and I can say I've been completely satisfied with the quality. I own the TJ Shiller version, which has really cool graphics, and the lens on it has never had a fogging issue. They fit well while you have a helmet on and they fit a pretty normal sized face extremely well. I can't really find anything negative to say, so I'll just add that they are a great buy at this price range.

Does the powder/ionized model pretty much...

Does the powder/ionized model pretty much have an amber lens? I'm going boarding saturday and looking for something to use on a low light (snowy) day. Thanks

The ionized lenses have a mirroring effect which makes them great for sunny days. They also will work fine on low light days, just not ideal. I would suggest going with the Rose lens if you want it just for the low light days specifically.

Are these the same as the Dragon Rogue...

Are these the same as the Dragon Rogue 2012 LTD Artist Series Goggle?

It's the exact same goggle, just different colorway treatments. The Artist Series version ( is also 'limited edition,' and thusly costs a little bit more.
