My favourite draw available

These are durable, ergonomic, light, and good-looking. Pretty much the perfect sport draw, unless you're doing long multi-pitch routes where you'd want something ultralight with dyneema. That being said I will still probably use these at chico potrero. It is worth noting that buying the six pack vs buying individual will yield slightly different products. With the six pack, each draw has the DMM logo sewn onto one side of the dogbone, whereas the individually sold units do not. The blue portion of the straight gate biner is also a slightly different color, although I'd chock that up to likely a difference in production batch.

My love affair with these draws...

It was about a month ago when the realization that I will be moving out in August and will have to stop using my dad's climbing rack hit me. That sent me spiraling into an online shopping spree like no other. I spent hours (mostly at work because even while I am sitting here writing this there is no one else that I can see at my work) searching high and low for the perfect draws to buy and call my own. Originally I was going to buy a full set of black diamond or Petzl draws, but then as I was going to checkout with my cart full of them I came across these draws, and man am I glad I didn't settle for average. I have climbed with these draws only a few times, but as any experienced climber knows it only takes one climb to fall in love or to hate a draw. When I first got the box it was heavier than I thought it should be and this worried me greatly, but soon as I had a draw out and in my hand all worries disappeared. I am used to climbing with super light weight trad draws from Petzl that don't seem to add any weight at all, so all draws in my hands feel super heavy. Not these ones. While yes, they are a little heavier than high end trad draws, they are lighter than any other draw I have ever had and they rack so nicely on a harness. The next step as any climber knows is to take them climbing as soon as possible! I did just that. The next morning at early O'clock I was pulling out of my driveway to head up to the crag. When I got there I went to a long warm up climb, racked up, and started climbing. Near the top of the climb I began to panic, the weight which would normally let me know how many draws I had on each side of me seemed to tell me I was almost completely out of draws! Then I looked down and saw that I still had 6 of these draws on my harness. THEY WERE SO LIGHT I HAD TO DOUBLE CHECK THAT THEY WERE STILL ON MY HARNESS!! That isn't why I am leaving this super long review though. The reason I am leaving this review is because normally when I am clipping a draw I have to have a little battle with my fingers, the rope, and the gate in order to clip in to them, but these draws just ate the rope all day! I didn't have to struggle once with clipping these draws, or, even more impressive in my opinion, unclipping and cleaning these draws. It doesn't matter if you are a professional climber who is giving Adam Andre a run for his money or if you are just beginning to get into climbing with a friend to have something to do during this pandemic or throughout college, these draws are a must have on anyone's rack. My only complaint about them is that they looked so pretty when they came that it was sad to get them scratched up from being on the rock. 12/10 recommend to anyone who lead climbs.
