Large calf problems

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

Im an athletic 6'-2", 240# man, after a calf injury I use compression in my daily workouts and was needing new ski socks. The size large just fit my foot, but didn't make it over my calf. I am going to try size XL and see if the compression is still there in the lower leg.

Most people think socks, eh socks, and that's it. I'll agree, the price is pretty high for socks, but these are worth it. These are my go-to's for touring days, or whenever I'm lucky enough to have a clean pair in the drawer. What I love about these is the snug fit they have. For backcountry days they don't slide around and bunch up around your toes, instead, it's a secure snug fit all day. If you haven't tried compression yet I strongly recommend it. Compression helps stabilize your muscles so they're not bouncing around all day. Compression also helps with blood flow. Between stabilization and increased blood flow, it helps keep your legs lasting longer so you can crush more pow all day every day. I will say, these are super snug to get on and off, but its so worth it!! I own cep as well and prefer these hands down!

I really love these socks so far. I like a thin sock most of the time however on cold days sometimes ill put a bit of a thicker sock over them for more warmth

Great ski socks

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Fit:
True to size

Bought for my husband who always has very sore calves after a full day of skiing. They felt tight and thin at first, but he loves them. Feet were warm all day, even in rental boots and calves were not sore. He wants more of these and is retiring all his other ski socks.

Best socks ever 2.0

I got these socks as a gift and have been using them for a few years now. Best. Socks. Ever. I've got Intuition liners and custom footbeds in my boots but before I started using these socks I would end up with foot cramps in one or both feet for a while every day. Never all day, and never for more than a half hour or so, but it was super annoying to have to ski a run with my boots unbuckled or tour in pain because my foot had cramped up. Cramps were something I just dealt with. I've probably got 180 days in these socks and since I started using them I can count the foot cramps I've had on one finger. It's like the jump from skinny skis to sidecut skis, or sidecut skis to fat skis, or fat skis to fat skis with rocker. I was blown away. I won't ski without them. I've since grabbed a few more pairs of different versions. Early season when my feet are all blown out from summer footwear and/or when my boots are freshly molded and extra tight I use the ski pro tours. Later in the season when my boots pack out a bit I'll graduate to the GFX which are slightly thicker. I have a size 9 foot, 26.0 boot and can use either M or L. I've started getting L just because my gf can fit in the M and I don't want to share. Haha!!! The only minor gripes I have are that the SPT socks are kind of a struggle to put on right out of the wash (they seem to be extra compress-y after washing) and the GFX pick up every dog hair in the house. But I will happily deal with that to not have pain, cramps, or other foot-related drama while I ski!

I've tried a ton of ski socks and these are the best. Keep feet warm, don't move in boot, and wick away sweat. Worth every penny. Love the new wool version too. I'm a 8 women's and wear a small.

Best compression sock on the market

I've used these socks for 2 years now, with over 100 days a year. Used for touring they reduce the chance of blisters and actually help rock the blood flow. Big thumbs up!
