- Q & A
This pack shows up as one with water-resistant features when selected as a filter, however the details and tech specs make no mention of it. Is it water-resistant? If so, how effective is it?
Hey Shaun! So the reason that is showed up in "water-resistant packs" is because it does have a PU coating, so technically it has some resistance. However, I do not think Deuter has actually done any testing, which is why its "waterproof rating" isn't listed whatsoever. It is strong fabric (600D polyester), and a PU coating on it, but I would be really worried about anything that isn't a light rain. or gentle splashing. If you were looking at this, I would definitely pick up a rain cover if you are going to go with this pack!
