The 3L reservoir compartment is easily accessible from a back zippered panel and the two side stow pockets hold additional water bottles so running out of water stays far from your mind. When the terrain gets spicy, the reinforced upper shoulder straps offer a comfortable carry for your bike. As the terrain mellows out, the ActiveFit shoulder straps and Airstripe backsystem work to stabilize the pack on your back and increase airflow as you weave and maneuver through single track aspen glades.

This pack had the 2 things I was looking for: padded waist belt with pockets and good organization. It is designed for biking but I bought it for hiking and it does great! There is more than enough room for all the gear I normally carry, and all the pockets of various sizes allow for organization and separation. I really appreciate that the main pocket opens almost all the way and the bottom zippers open to access the lower pocket or combine the two. The smartphone pocket is the greatest thing I didn't know I needed! It is super convenient and easy to reach when I want my phone to take pictures, but keeps it protected and out of the way the rest of the time. The integrated rain cover is another thing that is super convenient and not something I knew I needed until I had it. My only (small) complaint is that the mesh side pockets aren't big enough for any of the water bottles I have.
