An afternoon shower, or downpour, could happen at any time during your summer weekend backpacking trip. Be prepared with the Dueter Rain Cover III, which will keep packs sized 2746-5500cu in dry. Made from nylon taffeta and boasting taped seams and a PU coating, the III isn't afraid of the wet stuff, and neither is your gear, now.

    Does the job.

Used this on a 4 day trip in almost entirely rain and didn't have a problem at all. Perfect for what it does at a reasonable price. It's a little big so I would maybe explore other options if your pack is on the smaller side of the size range.

    Top notch

This rain cover works as it should even during heavy downpour, it keeps all my stuff in the backpack dry, I have use it for my deuter 65+10 and for my marmot 1100cu kompressor, the last one is considerably small comparing it to my deuter 65+10, but the rain cover straps can adjust to fit almost any backpack which is a great feature =)

Bought my Deuter rain cover just days before a two day hike in mid-Missouri with rain forcasted for both days. It worked great keeping things completely dry during a heavy downpour. I got the largest size for my ACT 65+10 and it is plenty big. Hopefully I won't have to use it again anytime soon.
