Kid Comfort Pro Carrier
When the heaviest part of your pack list is an untenable tyke, it's best to break out the reserve forces of child-carrying. Deuter's Kid Comfort Pro Carrier has all of the technical features necessary to keep your little one close when you take them outside, from long day hikes to adventures travelling to the coast or maybe the mountains. This Pro Carrier includes features like a sun shade to shield your tiny genius from the rays of the death star, high back seating for comfort, and a detachable rear-view mirror so you can check for signs of sleep without disturbance. The Kid Comfort Pro Carrier promises comfort on longer adventures and features like foot holsters so your little one can stretch their legs. Fully adjustable shoulder straps, hip belt, and torso length allow either parent to don the pack, with load adjustment straps for dialing in on the perfect weight balance. An integrated daypack is the perfect option for stashing everything from emergency diapers to fruit snacks and everything in between, and it can be easily attached to the chest straps for en route access. A sturdy aluminum frame allows easy maneuvering when this pack is not on your back, and it's equipped with a kickstand so you can set it all down and take a well-earned break. Because we all know our little monsters are also little escape artists, Deuter has included a new safety harness system that uses color-coded buckles for straightforward operation. If you have an independent tyke, they can climb in all by themselves with the side access available. Ergonomic cushioning and mesh ventilation are in place for both you and your babe thanks to Deuter's Aircomfort Sensic Vario System, so you'll both stay cool and comfortable. Your mini-me might even be so comfy that they fall asleep mid-hike.

We can’t wait to get out more with our Kid Carrier. Our toddler loves it and if she sees it out she demands to be put in it, even if it’s just to sit in the living room to watch TV. It’s very comfortable for all involved and we love how adjustable it is. We know it got our toddlers stamp of approval after she fell asleep 15 minutes into our hike and slept for the duration of it. We love how easy this makes it for us to get outside and not have to lug a stroller, meaning we have more room in the car to fit our dog so she can come along!

So I’m a big guy, put on some weight since my backpacking days in my 20s. I’m also tall. Had a backpack fitting guide recommend XL for me at the local super duper sporting place. I have yet to find a kid carrier that can reach that besides a Thule, but it wasn’t the most comfortable fit. How tall of a torso can this pack fit? I’m 6’1. Seems most of these packs are made for shorter people. Wanting to share the outdoors with my little man once the snow breaks and he doesn’t quite have the legs and stamina for hiking yet.
