Great item, wasn't as described

This will not fit older generations of the Kid Comfort packs. I have a KC 2 and this has buckles that attach to the front of the pack and mine uses clips. After contacting Deuter and Backcountry, neither were able to get me the parts I needed to make it work, so I had to return it and get a different one from somewhere else. It mentioned on the page that it fit all generations, but that isn't quite the case.
