It's been dumping powder for days, and the avy forecasters are finally saying the conditions are clear. Time to grab Deuter's Freerider Pro 34+ Backpack grab untracked lines. This pack's been updated with a roll-top that extends the volume up to 10 liters so we can stash extra gear or compress the pack as tight as desired. When we need to access its contents, we can still reach the main compartment through the back panel rather than dropping our skis, board, or snowshoes to get in through the top. Tough ripstop withstands harsh abrasion and precipitation, while the flexible Delrin U-frame system makes for a snug, secure fit that's stable throughout our adventure. A shovel pocket with a separate probe sleeve means we can quickly access our shovel to perform snow stability tests or dig out a pit stop.
