Hike the PCT and JMT with the ACT.
Whether you prefer to take a few of the finer things with you for the weekend or you plan on trekking into the backcountry for four to five days, count on the Deuter ACT Lite 75+10 Backpack to comfortably haul your gear. A Vari-Quick adjustable shoulder harness enables you to customize the pack to your height while an anatomically shaped X-frame creates a comfortable, flexible pack for medium to heavy loads. Side compression straps fully wrap the pack and help stabilize the load. Deuter also gave the ACT Lite an Aircontact back system which features a breathable hollow chamber that reduces perspiration by 15% when compared with conventional trekking backpacks for better performance and an increase in user comfort.
This lightweight backpack can carry up to 60 pounds of your gear comfortably while its ten-liter extension collar enables you to stash some last-minute essentials. A bottom compartment holds your sleeping bag and has an internal zip divider as well as a U-shaped external zipper for easy access when you're setting up camp. Hydration compatible, the ACT Lite 75+10 helps keep you well-hydrated, while top and bottom lid pockets, stretch-woven side pockets, and hip belt pockets stash your camera, toothbrush and toothpaste, headlamp, and other essentials you would like easily accessible. Deuter even gave the ACT Lite 75+10 ice axe and trekking pole attachments and an SOS label for convenience.

Great fit for thin body types
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I always have had a hard time finding packs that fit me right because of my body type, tall and thin (6'1/150). Either the belt was too loose or the shoulder straps were too tight. The ACT Lite packs are the only pack I've tried (out of the box) where i can get the belt small enough and still be able to adjust the shoulder straps properly. Torso adjustment is easy, just velcro. Belt is very comfortable with heavy loads (~50lbs), nice size pockets. Fits like a dream and carries well, even on steep terrain. Very light but still well built. This is my 'go to' pack for multi-day adventures.
Hi, I was wondering how tightly the shoulder, hip and load lifters (if there are) can be tightened? I am a female with hips that measure about 20 inches, so will it be able to fit me? Thanks in advance!
here is a female version of this pack. the female version has a smaller hipbelt and narrower shoulder straps. http://www.backcountry.com/deuter-act-lite-7010-sl-backpack-womens-4272cu-in?s=a
