Very comfortable protection.

For mid strength protection, these are great. I also use POC VPD 2.0 knee, shin and elbow pads, which are also quite good. These are a little more comfortable. The elbow pads don't completely cover the medial epicondyle, but it would take an odd hit to get that one location. They breath well, and I believe that in anything but a high speed downhill fall, they would do the job.
