Poor quality $50 pair of underwear
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Too many pads, low quality design. Tailbone pad is a joke had to cut down and hand sew in place. I use them but really not that great, expected more for the $$.

Terrible Tailbone Pad
Bottomline...the tailbone pad is super uncomfortable. Read the other reviews about this issue as well. It's about three inches too long and goes in between your legs. Uncomfortable to walk or sit down. Maximum protect with maximum discomfort. These are going back. I suggest you try another short.

Best Demon Shorts for Snowboarding
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
After trying on the SKINN, Flex-Force D30, and these shorts I have concluded that the Flex-Force Pro shorts have the best over-all padding profile for snowboarding purposes. While the tailbone pad is noticeable, it will definitely provide the preferred impact protection when you goof up going off a terrain feature and it doesn't seem to impede mobility while riding. I'm giving these shorts a 5/5 since they are the best option for snowboarding out of the three in the Demon lineup.

Good protection

Like everyone else said the tailbone pad is little long where it can be uncomfortable. For me, It wasn't that bad while I am riding, but uncomfortable when I am sitting down. well its better than no pad if you want protection.

not that Uncomfortable for snowboarding
I am 5'9' 153lbs waist32 .I choose a M size. Bought for 44$. I use it for beginning snowboarding. Because of the position of leg when playing snowboarding, I did not feel uncomfortable.I do a little bit jump.I'm no pro but I'm not as intimidated to go a little bigger now. While ,If there are more protection on the side ,That would be better.

Good protection - average quality
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Definitely more than enough padding in these shorts. Tailbone saver! I'm 5'8, 155-160lbs, and waist 32. I bought a medium and they fit fine. A little bulky but that's expected. I usually wear medium Burton or Northface snowboard pants, and these shorts make my pants a little snug, but they work. Only con... the material that holds the padding in place stretches out while wearing em. So the small hole that you insert the tailbone foam pad into, scretches and widens. The tailbone padding comes out and rides up your back. A little annoying on the mountain. I was able to fix this by sewing the hole smaller, and the tailbone pad no longer comes out. So again, shorts provide good protection, But the materials used aren't the best out there. I got these on sale and fairly cheap, so no complaints.

Good shorts

I've worn these 10x and I think there fine. If the tailbone padding is too long you can remove it and trim it down. All the pads come out for cleaning. The tail bone pad is very long and starts to go between your legs, but I let mine sag under my pants and they're fine.

Just wearing it around the house the tailbone pad rubs too much between your legs.

Uncomfortable design

Everything is great about these except the design of the tailbone pad: it runs the entire length of your backside, but then actually curves to go between your legs. Some may like the extra protection but to me it was unnecessary and uncomfortable.
