Bladerunner Pedals

When the trail gets rocky and steep, confidently pilot your full-suspension machine with the ultra-thin, rock-clearing profile of the Deity Bladerunner Pedals. Designed for shredding technical trails, the Bladerunner is the thinnest pedal in Deity's line at only 11-millimeters, allowing you to pick your way across rock gardens without strikes throwing you off your bike.

It's crafted of 6061-T6 aluminum for bombproof durability without weighing you down with excess heft. Ten allen bolt pins and machined traction grooves provide sure-footed grip, especially in wet conditions when you're prone to slipping off the pedals. Plus, they're fully serviceable with aftermarket kits, allowing you to rebuild them if they blow up after a season of heavy-duty use. Deity even throws in an extra set of traction pins for back up.

She loves purple

Familiarity:
I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Bought for a friend to upgrade from plastic to metal. Although heavier, these are very burly and a much needed upgrade. The pedals come with a bag of pins for replacement (if needed).

Stand up to their namesake

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Now I know we didn't see Decker riding around the streets of LA on a Bronson busting replicants, but if he needed to head to Laguna Beach to pop some skin jobs he would've been rocking these pedals.

Yea bruh. For sure what you said.

Great!

Gave as a gift, he really likes them! One concern: the middle bar makes contact with his shoe making the contact with the traction pins not quite as good as it could be; he wishes either the pins were a little longer or the middle bar a little more concave. He admits it could be his shoes that are the problem tho :) and the back up pins are nice to have!

Do it all

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I'm not really one for owning multiples of one item, so when I chose the Bladerunner pedals it wasn't just because of the anodized purple. I've ridden them on just about every category of bike and have nothing but praise for Deity quality and performance. Dirt jumps? Done. Long distance bike touring? Done. 50+ days of commuting? Done. The platform is wide and stable with confidence-inspiring pin placement. The bearings spin smoothly and the low profile will help avoid those pesky rock strikes. If you move pedals around on multiple bikes then these are the only pair you need.

The Best?

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Flat pedals are about all I ride. These are some of the best. They're nice and slim, have a wide platform, are nice and tough, have great bearings, the pins are quite grippy, pins are replaceable and replacements are included, and there are some great colors to choose from. What else could you want in a pedal?

Lovin the adjustable pins!!!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Coming from CrankBrothers Stamp 7, I love that the pins on these Deity pedals are very adjustable. I like running them barely poking out and even then the grip is amazing. The pedal platform is not concave and you can sometimes feel the axle when running the pins low but it’s no big deal. The feel is great and they look awesome!! One last thing, if youre gonna adjust the pins I recommend using some blue loctite as they can come loose if not tightened all the way.

Less Strike w/ Grip

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

My old pedal was pretty thick and even though it had a lot of grip it was constantly striking it on rocks and various other items. I hit it enough to send me over the bars a couple of times. Time to try something new! These bad boys come in at a nice and thin 11mm profile on the pedal and with the concave pin profile it does add adequate grip. If you are looking fro more grip then look at the TMAC, but for improved ground clearance and good looks these pedals will really fit the bill. Lots of colors to chose from so you can go full Power Ranger mood, they, can be also be installed with a standard 15mm pedal wrench or an 8mm allen.

Thin and durable

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Incredibly low profile on these pedals helps for those riders who have a propensity for finding every rock to smash their pedals on. But don't mistake thin for fragile. Deity has managed to use durable bearings that won't fail after a couple months of riding like other brands out there. Super grippy and comes with a full set of replaceable pins.
