ID Snowboard Boot - Men's

The Deeluxe ID Snowboard boot is an easy choice for the riders on the Deeluxe team for dominating any terrain type, from rail sessions through the terrain park to navigating steeper powder lines out of the boundary line. These medium flexing boots offer a perfect blend of response, support, and tweakability. The L2 lacing system independently tightens a lower and upper zone for a precise fit and to limit heel lift, while the Power Strap around the cuff increases support and response. A TPS shield behind the tongue adds stiffness, and the Backbone heel increases binding-to-boot response. And while the ID is a great choice for all-mountain riding, the Skate-Flex sole offers lightweight grip and includes a Slytech to absorb big landings and vibrations to keep you out on the hill from first chair to last.
  • A true all-mountain boot for any style of riding
  • Medium flex is responsive yet allows you to tweak or press
  • L2 lacing system independently tightens two zones for a precise fit
  • TPS shield behind tongue increases stiffness for added response
  • Pro Flex allows a more natural flex for added freestyle finesse
  • Backbone increases response between the boots and binding highback
  • Thermoblock insert reflecs heat back to your feet for added warmth
  • Skate Flex with Slytech heel absorbs impacts from big landings

I bought the deemons in january. I noticed some ankle soreness after the first run but figured it was just because the boots were brand new. After about 4 runs I could no longer flex my ankles to turn toe side. When I took off the boots after my shift instructing I had nasty welts/ weirdly swollen ankles. I own a pair of deeluxe spark xv boots, so I tried out the thermo moldable liners from those in the deemons and STILL got huge welts and swelling. At that point I contacted deeluxe about the issue. I have been going back and forth with deeluxe ever since (2 months). They have not offered to replace the obviously flawed boots, instead instructing me to remold my old liners and use them with the new boots. That would not solve the problem. The hard plastic tubes that surround the speed laces are 5mm thicker than the rest of the cuff of the boot creating an enormous pressure point on the inside of the ankle under the ankle straps for my union bindings. Customer service has been taking on average of 5 days to respond to my emails and generally not offering any help. Any company that can sell such shoddy equipment and provide such lax customer support is not to be trusted. When I got my spark xv's I swore I'd never buy boots from another compan, that has changed. I will not be supporting deeluxe in the future. I do not reccomend these boots or this brand to anyone. I was ready to love these boots. Deeluxe has lost a very loyal customer
