    Deemon Speedlace Snowboard Boot

A clear favorite of the Deeluxe team, the Deemon Speedlace Snowboard Boot is a plush yet responsive ride that helps you bring your freestyle prowess to the backcountry. Equipped with a D-Tex membrane, this boot keeps snow and slush on the outside, while the L3 lacing uses two separate lacing zones to let you customize the fit and flex of your heel, forefoot, and shaft zones depending on what kind of riding you're planning on doing. Your fit is further locked down with support from the PowerStrap that stabilizes your calf through demanding pow-filled tree runs.

Securing your boot's stiffness in sketchier, freeride zones, the Dupont Surlyn highback contributes to its durability and stability while reinforcements bulk up the support you need for straight-lining narrow chutes. And if it's a day in the backcountry just building a mellow booter with the boys, the Custom Flex construction enables you to adjust the flex and support to provide a more freestyle-friendly feel when you feel like testing out some new tricks. Rounding out this favorite, the Remedy outsole and midsole brings you enhanced cushioning and a reduced footprint that eliminates toe and heel drag, as well as a more streamlined design to ensure crampons conform to the boot more snugly. The outsole also features spikes in the toe and sharp edges for secure traction in no-fall zones, and a self-cleaning design that sheds ice and mud easily.

    • Versatile, supportive all-mountain boot with custom comfort
    • Speedlace closure uses two zones for an exact fit
    • Waterproof membrane shields against rain, sleet, and snow
    • Custom Flex construction adjusts easily for preferred support
    • Highback support enhances response and support
    • Remedy outsole is lightweight and fits crampons precisely
    • Deeluxe boots focus on comfort, convenience, and performance
    • Item #DEEI00B

    Badly made, worse customer support

    Familiarity:I've used it several times
    Fit:Runs small
    Size Bought11.5
    Weight180 lbs

I bought the deemons in january. I noticed some ankle soreness after the first run but figured it was just because the boots were brand new. After about 4 runs I could no longer flex my ankles to turn toe side. When I took off the boots after my shift instructing I had nasty welts/ weirdly swollen ankles. I own a pair of deeluxe spark xv boots, so I tried out the thermo moldable liners from those in the deemons and STILL got huge welts and swelling. At that point I contacted deeluxe about the issue. I have been going back and forth with deeluxe ever since (2 months). They have not offered to replace the obviously flawed boots, instead instructing me to remold my old liners and use them with the new boots. That would not solve the problem. The hard plastic tubes that surround the speed laces are 5mm thicker than the rest of the cuff of the boot creating an enormous pressure point on the inside of the ankle under the ankle straps for my union bindings. Customer service has been taking on average of 5 days to respond to my emails and generally not offering any help. Any company that can sell such shoddy equipment and provide such lax customer support is not to be trusted. When I got my spark xv's I swore I'd never buy boots from another compan, that has changed. I will not be supporting deeluxe in the future. I do not reccomend these boots or this brand to anyone. I was ready to love these boots. Deeluxe has lost a very loyal customer
