Seek and destroy.

In order to take on the most demanding terrain on the planet, Travis Rice needs every advantage he can get. That's why his signature DC Men's Travis Rice Boa Snowboard Boot is equipped with next-level tech that helps him send 100-foot jumps and charge straight down spines with precision and confidence.

When falling is not an option, as is often the case with the terrain Travis rides, you need scalpel-like precision, so DC hooked this boot up with a stiff flex that offers incredible response and dynamic power transfer. It also offers plenty of support for going huge in the backcountry or the terrain park. Aerotech ventilation in the high-performance Black SE liner allows cooling airflow and lets moisture escape when you're hiking a backcountry booter or hot-lapping on a powder day at the resort. An asymmetrical design reduces the overall footprint of the Asymmetrical Anti-Drag outsole to reduce heel- and toe-drag, which translates to catch-free descents on steep terrain. Unilite keeps the sole lightweight and cushy, while rubber panels ensure durability and traction where you need it most.

Buy these boots

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

So I’ve always wore 32 boots and I’ve always had issues with heel lift so I finally decided to get a high end boot. I had tried on a bunch of different brands and the DC Travis Rice fit the best. These boots are super comfortable, I get zero heel lift and the boot is stiff where it needs to be. I would highly recommend this boot it’s by far the best boot i have ridden. Only down side is obviously the price so I would wait until end of season and get them on sale.

These boots provide excellent comfort for dominating sick line on powder days and have superb cushion and shock dampening power when dropping cliffs. From the greatest pow day you’ve ever had to those spring groomer days these boots get the job done! From the time you put them in in the morning till the time you take them off after a hard day of riding they remain comfortable the entire time!!!

    Fell apart

The boots were really comfortable, started off really stiff but after a few days really softened up. Was disappointed with that. The heelcup came unglued on both sides after a soft riding. That forced me to return them. Over all had they held up I would be pretty happy with them. But because they didn’t I’m in the market for a new boot.

      Pretty cool but...

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Overall like it as good freeride boot but with some weak points.
It hold foot very well provide great response and control. Hit 3 meters drop and shock was absorb very well.
Tried it with very different snow conditions during cat skiing week in Siberia and felt that I can control my board without any doubts.
Sets were: Jones Flagship with Rome DOD bindings + Jones Storm Chaser + Rome Targa bindings.
Went with half-size bigger boot and it was right.
What I didn't like too much:
      - Not that warm. In -10C ...-15C I start to feel my toes became cold in an hour
      - Too tight in the leg uprising area. Sometimes it's even painful and cannot solved with BOA untightening
      - Not sure that gater works really well. Felt wet few times in the toes area
      - Not that comfortable overall and 9/10 stiff actually

      Big Hitter

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Athlete designed for a truly great boot. The Boa closure is not always the best but the it is okay on this boot, that's why it gets a 4 star rating. IMO boots with a Boa and lace system are best for a perfect fit.
The stiffness of this boot is what really makes it stand out from others, it provides a really responsive performance. The footbed is also pretty supportive, it features an impact-S insole for those big landings as well.
I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who likes to send it big like Travis Rice, and go fast and hard during your time on the ground.
