Snug fit

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I have close to a dozen pairs of Darn Tough socks in various heights & cushion thicknesses. These are the smallest & tightest fit of all of them. It seems like socks in their Run/Bike/Endurance line are a snug fit, but these are the most narrow & tight of all I’ve tried. I am on the high end of the sizing (size LARGE, I wear a size 12 in most shoes, occasionally a 12.5) & while my foot isn’t narrow, it’s not an EE, so they may fit others better. I have a pair of 1/4 Light Mesh socks that are on the smaller side, but aren’t too small. If you’re on the high end of sizing with a narrower foot & want a snug fit for riding or running these should work for you,. If you like a snug fit, but still want to be able to move your toes, size up. As with all Darn Tough socks the quality & durability are top notch. It would be nice if websites would include what line of Darn Tough socks they are from (HIKE, Endurance, WORK, Lifestyle, etc.) in their description with more details on type of fit so buyers would have a better idea if they’ll work for their needs. The same goes for reviewers, if they fit small, large or perfect include your shoe size & what size you bought!

Darn Good!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Darn Tough consistently produces some of the most quality socks on the market and these do not disappoint! Definitely a pretty thin sock with light cushioning, but it fits spot on and hasn't stretched a bit after about 50 miles of street running.
