These are my favorite socks for wearing in my boots. I wear mid hikers everyday for work & for most of my outdoor time. I recently wore these on a mule deer hunt where the temps were between 12F - 28F. These socks kept my feet comfortable hiking in the snow and glassing for hour on the high ridges. I bought 3 pairs and will be buying more.

I have worn a lot of different socks over the years for hiking and these are my favorite for sure. I love the 1/4 length and they are super comfortable and don't smell bad after a couple long days of hiking. I wear a size 9.5 in most shoes (Nike, Altra, Astral, etc.) and the size Medium fits perfect for me.

Perfect low hiker

I use these with my hiking shoes and love them. They are just the right height where you don't need to keep pulling them up. Buy these if you're looking for a lighter weight sock that can take some extended hiking abuse.

Default Socks
These are my favorite boot socks. These socks stay put while hiking so there are no hot spots. They have cushion on the soles and allow venting across the top off your foot so your feet don't overheat (sweat). The best part...when you wear through them, Darn Tough will replace them! But three years in, I am still working on the first pair!

These socks are amazing! They're super comfortable and durable. The merino is amazing at temperature control, moisture wicking, and odor prevention. Because of their warranty, they will be replaced if they ever wear through (though I'm not sure if they can...). Darn Tough should be the standard for socks.

Darn Tough Quality In Above Ankle Form
Darn Tough tends to be my favorite of the merino wool sock brands and this time is no different. The quality, feel and durability strike that balance of being soft in feel while staying together with many wearings and washings. Large fits me well at an 11.5 foot but be wary as the thickness may run thus sock a bit too warm for anyone whoâs feet get hot easily.
