Break boot but size down for sure

I've been a 9.5 for 20 years, every single piece of footwear I own. These were quite large, I'd say go down at least half a size. Reorder a 9 and I am worried that will be too large.

Don't size down, size up if you wear EE

I typically wear a size 11 wide. I read a lot of reviews on this boot saying to size down so I thought an 11 D would work. WRONG. Too tight and. So I sized UP to 11.5 and now they fit perfect! I've walked about 50 miles in these boots so far and there was almost zero break-in time and they are very comfortable.

Bought a 1/2 size smaller due to reviews and fit perfectly. Great looking boot that required little to no break it and that I enjoy wearing on and off the trail. Recently used on several trails in the Smoky Mountains and performed great in mud, gravel, and very rugged terrain we encountered. One thing I did notice was a little slippery on some of the smooth rocks we crossed in the river beds, but maintained it?s waterproof title.
