Your steadfast ally in the fight against frostbite.

On the coldest days of winter, reach for your trusty Dakine Titan mittens and know that your fingers will still be there when you get back inside. The generous 350g insulation keeps your digits toasty, and they'll stay dry thanks to the waterproof, breathable Gore Tex insert. There's a tacky Rubbertec palm for tweaked grabs, plus the removable glove liner is smartphone-compatible, so answering phone calls won't mean begging for frostbite. When the mercury dips below zero, you'll appreciate the zippered stash pockets, which make a perfect home for heat packs. Sure, it's cold enough to drive everyone back into the lodge, but those powder stashes aren't going to rip themselves.

    Favorite Mitten

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've been wearing these mittens for a couple years now and just picked up a second pair. They're warm, waterproof, and will never let you down. They come with a thin glove liner for those really cold days but I found those to be really useful by themselves on the uphill while I'm out on my splitboard.

    A Classic!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've always loved Dakine's mittens and these are no different. They fit a bit large, which how I prefer my mittens for in-bounds skiing as it helps for wearing liners (which are included). The elastic cinch around the wrist helps keep snow and wind out and the the band along the upper hand really helps to retain the warmth. When the cold, brisk mornings turn into those beautiful blue bird days, I take the liners off and the mitten is perfect (however it will get too warm for spring skiing). Highly recommended!

    Best Mittens I've ever owned!!

These mittens keep your hands so warm! They have every feature that you would want, and so far they are holding up really well. I've taken these gloves out 4-5 times now and have put them through the ringer. They are still holding strong! No signs of wear yet. I spent hours looking up different gloves, and if you are going to buy mittens buy these! I made the mistake of buying some burton mittens... never doing that again. They wore so fast compared to these. I've always been impressed with dakine products. I had these gloves out in 0 degree weather and they kept my hands perfectly warm. The second they start to show wear I'll update my review, but until then I fully recommend these mittens!

      Love them so far!

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Great gor-tex mitt with a good bang for your buck! I love the high cuff! You can wear it under the sleeve of your jacket or if you are boarding on a warmer day with your sweatshirt you can just through the cuff over your sleeve too. Excited to have these this winter on the cold days!

      Very Warm

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Due to health issues (and my age) I am prone to cold fingers and toes when skiing in Maine. I got these mittens toward the end of the ski season, but had immediate benefits. I no longer had to use hand warmers in my mittens to stay comfortable. The goggle squeegee and nose swipes on the thumbs are just added benefits.

I believe this is a mitten for men

I spoke with customer service and compared the Sequoia Dakine mitten to this Titan mitten. It was suggested that the Titan would be best for high altitude climbing. So I ordered according to their sizing chart and it was huge!! I was in an outdoor store yesterday and found both gloves; the Sequoia is labeled "womens", and the materials on the label match exactly with the Titan. So, I have to return the Titan. I decided to go with the OR Meteor Mitts; they have fleece liner mittens which pull back for exposure of fingers only when you need dexterity, and they are very easy to turn inside out to dry. The Titans were difficult to turn inside out, but I will miss the nose wipe and goggle squeegee.

        Disappointed in back country assistance

        • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I have large hands and find it difficult to get gloves or mittens large enough. I told the snowboard expert at back country that the only glove I had found that fits is a Hestra heli glove size 13 but need to get a mitten for the real cold days could he recommend something because kestra only makes up to a size 12 that I have tried and was too small. He recommend XXL titan gore-tex mitten he was apparently just guessing because of the XXL size listing . I could get my hand inside without the linner but could not move my hand and could not even get my hand in with the supplied linner. It looks like it would be a good mitten if you can get it on. The return policy is good but I would rather not have to pay $6.95 to try on a pair of gloves or mittens.

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This mitt is amazing, especially for the price. Love that it comes with liners, small pockets for important things like ski passes, keys, money, etc. The rubber squeegee comes in clutch on wet springs days. And have I mentioned they are super warm?

        warm and comfortable

These are terrific. The liners are typical and so if they get wet, they could be a problem ( don't wear them without the outer mittens). That said, they didn't get wet at all when the mitten was over them. These are really warm and the zipper pouch for the hand warmers is a thoughtful touch. Also, the lashing/tensioning straps are helpful in keeping out unwanted snow. Nice.

          Best gloves I've had

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Bought these - or perhaps their previous model - a few years ago. I I got frostbite as a kid because I dodnt want to stop skiing to take a break inside - constantly have cold hands ever since then. I've tried many gloves - these are the best. Recently skiing in -20F and had warm hands all day. Asides from being warm, they are just well designed.

          Good for cold weather.

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Got these for skiing when the temps drop below 20. Do the job and the squeegee on the thumb is a nice addition when ice/snow is building up. They come with high quality liners but I found it difficult to use them with the mittens with ski poles.

          Warm as HELL!!!

          • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I suffer from PCDS (Perpetually Chilly Digit Syndrome). Okay, so maybe that's a real thing but my fingers sure do get cold. Not any more thanks to these mittens! Today was -19 with the wind chill and my hands were getting sweaty with the liners and mittens worn together. Awesome and warm mitten at a great price. Bought these because the $190 I spent on Hestra's 3 finger Seth Morrison pro model wasn't worth crap on cold days. You cannot go wrong with these if you are looking to truly keep your hands nice and toasty.

          BEST MITT FOR PRICE!!!

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These mitts are perfect for days where your thermometer won't work. I have used these for an entirety of winter season in Taos NM and they work perfectly. From temperatures of -5 to 25 these mitts will keep my hands dry and warm all day without handwarmers. My hands get ridiculously cold too I have tried the titan glove and it will go down to about 25, but this mitt outperformes every glove and mitt I have had with a reasonable price. The gore tex keeps you dry and regulates temperatures and the imsulation is not too bulky. It's easy to geto both on and off, but the over jacket cuff keeps all snow from getting in ever. Pound for pound possibly the best mitts on market and I would recomend them to anybody

          Must have snowboarding mitt!

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I just bought a second pair to replace my old Titan Mitts. These were my go to mitts for 2-3 seasons of snowboarding. I liked that the gauntlet was pretty large to fit over my sleeve, idiot straps, Gore Tex membrane, the nose wipe on the right thumb, goggle squeegee on the left and the price point. The mitts will wear out, especially if you do a lot of tricks/grabs, but for $65 it's a steal for Gore-Tex mitts. Plus, there is a 2 year warranty you can cash in on to get your next pair! I've used these all over, but most rencently in the Chugach Backcountry [AK] where it's very damp. The Titan Mittens kept my hands warm and dry all day.

          Must have snowboarding mitt!

          Dakine Titan Mitten

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The Dakine Titan Mitten is a 5 Star product which keeps your hands warm and dry in freezing temperatures and for long periods of time. I used these in the snowstorms of February & March in New Hampshire in 2014.

          Great glove!

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I wear these every day walking to work and they've also proven themselves for chilly snow exploring.

Waterproofing is solid and liner gloves are really useful for grabbing keys, phone, pulling zippers.

I love these gloves! Just bought a pair for a buddy.

          A good moderate mitten.

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
          • Fit: True to size

I say moderate for two reasons. They are not the warmest when you dip into 20 and below temps. Also, if its above 34ish and you've got wetter snow, they are not the driest either. For those reasons they are my "goldie locks" mitten. Perks are a nice and high snow cuff that does a great job. You also have the nice microsuede exterior on the thumb to take care of a runny nose or even wipe any snow or water drops off your goggle lens. I've had my pair (pre glove liner) for 2 years now. I upgraded some time ago to a aftermarket glove liner just so I can use my fingers on the lift while keeping them covered from the elements. They dry fast and have held up for two years now. No tears or failures.

Not as good as they used to be...

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought a pair of the Titan mittens 2 years ago. Great price for a Gore-Tex liner mitten. My fingers get a little chilly up here in the Northern Rockies but these mittens were the first ones to fix that. They held up good enough so I figured I would get the fresh colors for this year. When they arrived I thought they sent me the wrong liners. They switched from being a mitten liner to a normal glove liner! I'm buying a mitten so that my fingers are together to stay warm so I was not very happy to find the glove liners. Thinking about sending them back, I bought a pair of Hestra Heli mitts on SAC. Now those are some mittens!

Not as good as they used to be...

Do these have a wrist leash?

Do these have a wrist leash?

I really wanted a wrist leash as well, but couldn't turn down these gloves b/c of the great deal. For just a few bucks, I bought these as a cheap alternative. Works well enough ....
