Hate the pack

I returned this product before using it

First of all I hate the strap buckles - specifically the strap buckle locks. When my fingers are freezing from cold weather the last thing I need is the additional steps of having to unsnap the buckle lock before I can unsnap the buckle from its cinched position. This adds unnecessary time, hassle, and physical pain to transitions in situations where the weather is extreme cold which is the rule, not the exception for alpine hiking/skiing on snow. For a winter pack this is completely unacceptable. My old Dakine is simple with old style buckles and cinch and still works very satisfactorily even though the pack is well over 10 years old. I will never purchase a Dakine pack with this locked buckle setup. Second if the pack has 32 liters of size I would like to know where it is. My 22 liter Osprey has almost as much usable space. My old Dakine poacher has 35 liters and feels like it has almost twice as much usable space as this Dakine 32 liter.
